This amp has not been plugged in or tested in any way. I cleaned a majority of the dust off the unit and the inside looks excellent. The fuse cap and fuse are missing. This sale is a vintage. Scott 299 Tube Stereo Integrated Amplifier. It is an integrated amp that features phono stage. This amp is all original, no mods. Tubes shown in pictures are borrowed for testing, not included in the sale. I powered it up with variac to 80v AC. One channel always produced good sound from the connected speaker; the other kind of hit and miss; not always got sound. When this second channel worked, the sound was OK. So, I can tell that the output and power transformers should be all good, but the circuitry or some controls/switches needs attention due to the intermittent behavior. Cosmetics are fair, particularly the front has couple of bent areas. Good thing is all knobs are original. Chassis is good structurally. It is just covered by a layer of dust/dirt; not really rust. I rubbed/cleaned a small area (see pictures) and it shows good metal underneath. So, a good cleaning/detailing can get the chassis back in good shape. Bottom plate is there. Pl ease examine the photos carefully, for they are part of item description. Again, no tubes are included. Tube shields are included though. Please wait for my invoice before pay. 1/1110-U Italian Made 125W Tube Amplifier. This Vintage Geloso G. 1/1110-U Tube Amplifier does power on. We tested the tubes and both of the 12AX7′s and the 12AT7 tested well. However all four EL503′s have shorts. No further testing has been done. The fuse holder was broken and I replaced it. All but two knobs were missing, so I added different knobs. I will send the pieces of the fuse holder and the two original knobs. Also, it appears that a previous owner has replaced the farthest left 12AX7 tube socket. 1983 JCM 800 MK2 50w 2204. New tubes about 8 weeks old, Previous owner modded with a volume attenuator next to the High Sensitivity input which allows you to push your tubes at lower volumes. Theres also some banana clip inputs to hook up studio speakers. (I guess that was a thing in the 80s) Looks like there was another mod started but never finished for an effects loop shown in the pics. This was a studio amp 90% of its life. When I acquired it I used it live for about 2 yrs in a road case. It will be missed. This amp comes just as you see it pictured. Up for sale here is this vintage Stromberg-Carlson AU34 tube amplifier. This is an interesting one. It was recapped/rebuilt by a previous owner, so it has some new caps and new power resistors, and some nice Sprague Black Beauty caps. I brought it up on a Variac and it does play well and sounds fairly good. The rebuild work is fairly good but this does have holes in the top of the chassis–I think there are supposed to be metal covers over these, but I’m not sure. Physical condition is fairly good but this does have a moderate amount of wear and rust overall, and is missing the feet, handle, screws for the cage, and one bottom screw. On the plus side, this has the schematic on the underside of the bottom panel, and both the cage and bottom are included. This has the original knobs as well, which could use a good cleaning. This includes all the tubes–1 6N7, 1 6SF5, 1 6SJ7, 1 5U4GB, and 2 6L6GC (GE). I tested the 6L6GC tubes, and one tested at 93 and the other test at 100 but tested positive for shorts and grid emissions. This is on my B&K 747B, on a scale of 0-120 where 65 is minimum good. These still work right now but you may want to replace them. I didn’t test any of the other tubes. This has 3 separate inputs on the side–an RCA jack, a screw-on microphone jack, and 2 screw terminals. All inputs seem to work fine. This has a bunch of output options on the back, and has a 1/4 jack hanging out of the back as well. I tested this using that jack and it does play and work fine. You might want to clean up the work on this, and just clean it up in general. These are supposed to make good guitar amps, and this would make an awesome “rat rod” amp. It’s been sitting on a shelf for a while, and deserves some love. Please see my pictures for details. If you have any questions, please ask.
