A vintage 1960′s Gibson GA-8T Discoverer amplifier in very good condition. Point to point wiring circuitry, low wattage for that sought-after over driven tone without the cost of a tweed era vintage champ/princeton. This one is in fairly clean cosmetic condition for it’s age, tolex shows some dirt but no major damage with only a few small tears/marks, chrome is very clean with only light marks, handle is excellent, logo is in intact, grill is excellent. Original blue label Chicago Jensen speaker, includes the original footswitch for the tremolo. Still has original 2 prong cord that should be upgraded to a grounded 3 prong but we have kept as original for the new owner to decide. Controls: Volume, Bass, Treble. Tremolo: Depth & frequency. This is a Thordarson amplifier in excellent condition. It has been powered up and the power light comes on and the tubes illuminate. Features an Art Deco Airstream style case.
