You are looking at a Vintage 1964 Ampeg EJ-12A Echo Jet All Tube 1×12 Combo Amp. Original Utah 1×12 Speaker. This is a tone monster. Incredible for recording guitar. The Reverb Unit has been removed from this amp. The way this reverb used to function is that it had alligator clips that you would have to connect to another power source (amp) and than it would function. A little confusing and not that practical. Sometime in it’s past someone took the reverb out. Warm & Lush 1960′s Classic Ampeg Tone. Utah Speaker sounds great. Perfect amp for gigging as well as recording. Light, Compact and Portable. Our Amp Tech serviced this amp. He cleaned all pots, jacks and switches. Replaced the Output Transformer. Replaced Power Supply Filter Caps. Installed a new handle. Installed 3-sprong grounded ac cord. Gig ready on arrival. You won’t have to spend any additional monies on this amp. Power Transformer: #682.438. Speaker Code: #328.606. Keep in mind that this is a 54 year old vintage amp that has been used. There are some scuffs, scratches and minor tears in the tolex. All lettering is still clear and legible. This all-tube “fliptop” bass combo amp pairs a 25-watt top with simple volume and tone controls to a 1×15 cabinet which contributes significantly to the deep, classic tone that the B-15N can get you in a heartbeat. The top tier of bass players quickly adopted the B-15, including James Jamerson, John Paul Jones and Bill Wyman, and these amps remain studio staples even today. When it comes time to move the B-15N, the top can be flipped and secured inside the cabinet for transport, giving you the portability of combo amps and the stability and flexibility of piggyback stacks. Beautiful condition with normal wear and tear for an amp of this age. Sounds good, recently powered up and tested.
