Vintage Tube Amp

Up for sale, a 1959 Fender Champ in excellent condition and in perfect working order, freshly serviced and complete with a full vintage tube set. Simple, elegant and clean enough to satisfy collectors and serious players alike, this vintage Champ boasts its original lacquered tweed and hallowed 5F1 circuit. It doesn’t get much more pure than the Champ, and this studio favorite delivers freakishly dynamic and glassy pure tube tone that can go from clean to fully saturated overdrive with a twist of the single knob. This particular Champ has been well cared for over the decades and is stocked with the original Oxford 8 speaker. The circuit has just been serviced by our techs here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar, with new filter caps sleeved in the original Minimite wrappers (all original caps included) The preamp retains the original yellow Astron tone capacitors. Both transformers are original, and the chassis itself boasts an extremely clean chrome faceplate with all of the original white silkscreen lettering. The original gray two-prong power cable is still installed as well. The original Stackpole pot dates to the 30th week of 1959, and the Oxford speaker dates to the 43rd week of the same year. Both the speaker frame and chassis have an “IK” stamp, which translates to November of 1959. The tubes are all vintage valves including a Tung Sol 6V6 power tube. Cosmetically, the original lacquered tweed has ambered considerably, with some minor scuffs and wear around the lower right corner on the face of the enclosure in particular, but overall the tweed looks particularly great and uniformly aged, with original nailed in feet and even the original leather handle! Both back panels are original as well as the baffle, which retains the original oxblood grillcloth with gold stripe. For your consideration is a used 1964 Fender Bandmaster all tube head. Overall in excellent condition, and perfect function. The shell for the amp is not original, nor is some of the hardware that is currently on the amp. The amp was professionally re-capped, and a new 3 prong power cable was installed. All of the original parts: replaced capacitors, original power cable, Fender badge, feet, handle, metal corners, screws are included as pictured. This one has been modernized, but still has it’s 60′s soul! Sometimes these older amps need some TLC to get back to playing shape…. This one won’t need any work. Tested and in working condition. Due to the age it will probably need new capacitors. The controls are also a bit scratchy. This piano sounds great. My friend has been playing it , with me and we both love its tone. Its in pretty good condition , and the wood cabinet just adds to the sound. Most of the cabinet space is empty so its not as heavy as an acoustic piano. If ut wasnt for its size I could move it by my self. Lovingly restored classic 1954 Gibson GA20. Last year of the original style. Plug and play ready. The original 12 Jensen P12R still has original cone, looks and sounds great. Highest quality parts used-CE firecracker caps, blue Sozos and Sprage Atom caps. All vintage tubes including 4 out of 6 original ones! Two-6SJ7s, 6SL7GT, two perfectly matched smoked glass RCA 6V6GTs and 5Y3GT. They all test very good on my Hickok 6000A. 3 Prong power cord. Circuit is stock, except for a couple of things. I changed the Instrument channel coupling cap to. I also changed the instrument inputs. Instead of all 3 being the same, they are set up as high, mid and low level, in a Fenderish way. Vintage Maco 300 Linear Tube Amplifier. This amp has been in my family for over 40 years. It belonged to my Dad when I was a child. I have not used it in over 20 years. It was kickin when I last used it. We had a CB Sideband radio with Moonraker 4′s(I think thats what he called them), and if we could hear you, we could talk to you with this amp. But I have no use for it anymore and its just collecting dust. I have no way to really test it. I plugged it in and fired it up and it still has that good old “thump” sound when you cut it on. All the tubes lit up and it started getting warm. Not really sure the tubes would stay intact. No rush on pick. It will be here when you get here. A vintage 1962 Panaramic Model 1210 tube combo amp in great cosmetic and working condition. Panaramic was one of the many re-branded offerings of the Magnatone company. Dimensions: 20” x 16.5” x 9.5′. I simply do not know a thing about guitar amps or let alone guitars. I bought this amp at a garage sale in this exact condition. I have not cleaned it at all, I’d rather have someone professionally clean it due to how rare this amp is. I have had it tested and it’s in. Pristine condition in all areas and works like a charm. I have videos of it being played if you’re interested in that. Pamphlets as shown in pictures. Two nobs are not equipped as shown in pictures, but I have one of the originals that is missing. I tried to place it on the stud and tighten the flat head screw to lock it on the stud, but didn’t work. I believe the problem is that I need a very small slab of something to lock into the stud that goes into the nob that the screw bites down on. Will be placed in a wood structure thats filled with bubble wrap that is at least 3-5 inches thick of a bubble wrap wall all the way around it.
