Fender Pro Junior tube amp, covered in vintage blonde tolex. This first generation Pro Junior delivers classic Fender sound in a compact size, made in USA. Two EL84 power amp tubes and two 12AX7 preamp tubes, one volume and one tone pot for a pure authentic sound. With the tone knob fully open, you can get that famous Fender crystal clear sound. Speaker has been changed for. Please note there have some been modifications so that this does run as loud as a regular Fender Pro Junior (I don’t know any more than that, but have included some circuit photos). The volume is much lower, it does not distort when the volume is 6, or above and the tone is notably a lot warmer. The internal speaker is connected into the chassis with a jack plug, so you can pull this out and use an external speaker box (for example 4 x 12 at 8 Ohms) if you want. Thank you for looking. Fantastic Vintage 47 Bronson tube guitar amp – a recreation of the vintage American Valco made amps. Check out their website: Vintage 47 Amps dot com. Here’s some info. The Bronson “Singing Electric” was one of the many companies Valco made amps for. It shares the all octal tube Valco Supreme 12 watt class AB push pull ciruit with a 10 inch alnico magnet Ted Weber signature speaker. The finger jointed baltic birch cabinet is covered in 2 tone beaded tolex. This amp has that amazingly thick & saturating Valco sound and touch sensitivity our amps are famous for. Capable of clean jazz to over the top overdrive. An incredible harp amp with great feedback control due to the interactive tone & volume controls. 12 watt class AB push pull circuit. Cathode biased – No biasing required! 5Y3 rectifier, metal cased 6SQ7 preamp, 6SL7 inverter and 2 6V6GT power tubes. 10 inch alnico speaker by Ted Weber with bell housing cap. The 210-65 features a 2-channel pre-amp, with one clean channel with Volume, Bass and Treble controls, and a second channel with a Volume, Master, Bass, Treble, switchable Tremolo and lush spring Reverb. It also has a bright switch and a deep switch. Unbelievable clean Fender style tones, yet when the power stage is pushed hard, the amp has full, natural tube distortion. Up for sale, a 1968 Fender Showman Reverb vintage tube amp head in exceptional condition and in perfect working order. A very early transitional example with “drip edge” aluminum trim, this Showman is a variation made only for a few short months that still retains identical circuitry and component values to its Blackface predecessor, including blue Ajax tone caps and cloth covered wire. The amp boasts 85 watts of tube power via a matched quad of Groove Tubes 6L6 power tubes, along with a host of JJ and Groove Tubes valves in the preamp, all performing as intended for optimal reliability and tone. The amp excels at delivering big, bold clean tones and pushes into sweet tube overdrive after around 5 on the volume dial. The reverb is lush and splashy, and the tremolo has a nice strong chop. The circuit is extremely original, with all of the stock Schumacher transformers present and dating to early’68. The preamp is virtually untouched as well, with CTS pots that date to the 9th week of 1968 and chassis stamps from’68 too. The power supply has been recently recapped to ensure that the amp is reliable for stage and studio use with high quality Sprague Atoms. Cosmetically, this head is clean as can be, with original smooth black tolex and silver sparkle grillcloth with blue thread. The faceplate has plenty of shine with all of the stock witch hat knobs. All original hardware is present (aside from the cabinet attachments) including the raised Fender logo, corners, and handle caps, and the hardware shows sparingly little wear. This Showman is the perfect amp for players seeking a true Blackface tone with the added functionality of Fender’s lush all-tube reverb, and while the Showman Reverb existed as a model for a number of years, this is the earliest and most sought after version from the first months of 1968! 6CG7, (1/2) 12AX7 (260). 2x Oxford 12L5N 12. 2x 5″ or 2x 5×7″. 1959 Magnatone Custom 280 Tube combo amp. The top of the line offering of the late 1950s. Two separate output transformers with true stereo Vibrato. Original Oxford 12L5N speakers. Two 5 speakers also for four speakers total. Plugged in and tested and works. I would not say it was tested by a guitar specialist, but it was tested with a guitar and it did play. Cosmetically the unit is in great vintage shape when compared to other units of this age. This unit was filled with Church Hymns and Christian music from days gone by, telling me that this amp may have lived an easier life than some. Up for sale is a simply AMAZING amp by Gibson…. Nevermind the terrific cosmetic shape that this amp is in (see condition description), this powerful little box just SOUNDS stupendous! We have a few of these vintage Gibson amps in our store at the moment, including a “holy grail” type GA50T as well as 2 different GA40RV models. BOTH sound excellent and are worth the price of admission. But THIS model, the GA-5, has got to be my favorite out of the lot! Not sure if all of the GA-5 Skylarks sound this good, but this particular unit just plays, feels and sounds SPECTACULAR! Simple operation, 2 inputs, 1 volume knob and 1 tone knob! Keep the volume low up until around 6 to 6 1/2 depending on your guitar, and you get this lovely clean and bright sonic experience that is very reminiscent of a Vox… With the jangle increasing as the volume increases. Also makes this amp a great platform for your outboard effects! Lovely edge of breakup tube sound as you hit about 5 1/2 to 6 1/2! Seems to my ears like an exquisite mix of the overdrive on a Vox and a Fender Tweed amp! With the volume from about 8 to max, and this thing SCREAMS in a great way!!! Better than the overdrive from those newer 5 watt lunchbox size amps that have been coming out the past decade or so. When this amp overdrives, it is SO SMOOTH. No speaker rattle or weird sonic remnants. And as with all great tube amps, you can keep her loud, then turn down your volume knob to clean up your signal NICELY! This is just an absolute GEM of an underrated amp by Gibson. Get a more unique piece for your rig whose sound can go toe to toe with the best of them!
