Vintage Tube Amp

For sale is an extremely rare RCA MI-9377-A that has been recapped. Tubes are very old and the bases are loose. I’ll include them but expect that you’ll need to replace them. Unit does have some scrapes and nicks, but is in remarkable shape for its age. As you can see from the photos, the chassis is very clean. Please review the photos carefully. I make no guarantees about performance. I sell mostly vintage electronics. As such, these items are old and typically out of spec from when they were new. I do my best to test these items and make sure they work before theyre sent out, but I do not guarantee or represent that they will meet the original specifications. I may not even be able to test them, in which case assume that they dont work and possibly be surprised when they do. However, there are times where I may miss something. This isnt a job and Im not a flipper. I pack items correctly. I know what it takes to get an item to you safely. You will NOT have to ask for it. Although the unit works it does need some work to restore it to its full potential along with small work like the power cord on it is old, stiff, and cracking. I soldered and taped it for temporary purposes. The output was clean but highs were lacking and the lower end was present but not as clear as you’d expect. I used my fully functional SP-220 for testing. I do not have the cage and I also do not have enough tubes on hand to supply them for you as I need them for my other gear. The tubes in the pictures are just to demonstrate it is a working unit. None included The unit does have several marks and wear to the paint but the chassis and front and rear panels are free from damage or dents. Please use the photos and your knowledge and/or research of the unit or that of your personal tech or forums to ascertain the the overall restoration needs for the unit. My description is to the best of my knowledge but research on the buyers end before hand is expected as these are rare but there are a lot of experts out there to help you along. Sounds awesome, looks awesome (please see all pictures) and includes original footswitch. Just serviced with new electrolytic caps, 3 prong power cable, and new 10 Celestion speaker. Has some minor background hum, but nothing like some of my other vintage amps! Gets some sweet noisy gain at higher volumes! Such a cool amp with excellent reverb and tremolo effects!
