Vintage 1966 Fender Vibro Champ Amp Blackface Tube Guitar Amplifier Vibrato. Amp has been tested and is in great working condition. Fully serviced at some point, check photos of chassis interior. A lot of parts mostly capacitors have been replaced. Looks like very clean work. Slide power switch has been replaced with toggle switch and on/off positions have been labeled. Replacement 2 prong power cord end. Speaker replaced with Warehouse American Vintage. No vibrato pedal included. All sales are final. Mods: The speaker has been bypassed. The cable needs to be re-attached to the poles of the speaker. ACCESSORIES INCLUDED: This item comes as seen in photos, and does not include any accessories. PHYSICAL CONDITION: Good – This amp has seen a fair amount of use. There are plenty of blemishes and worn surfaces all around. The back panel is missing. It seems like the handle has been replaced at one time because it looks newer than the rest of the amp. Overall this amp is in good physical condition for being an old piece! WORKING CONDITION: Poor – Amp works but also has a loud and seemingly-random popping sound that is put out to the connected speaker output. Overall working condition is poor. I suspect this unit originally housed Naval or aircraft Communications equipment or something of that nature. The unit is made entirely of High Quality aluminum. It is heavily braced and reinforced yet it is extremely lightweight for it’s size. Features flaps or doors that cover the front mounting hardware. This unit is not marked with a manufacture but the twist lock knobs on the front are marked “Dzus X-486″ and the inside of each hardware flap is marked ” AN257-5 “. I believe the “An257-5″ may refer to a military communications radio model #. Overall condition is decent it shows some heavy wear from use but it is fully functioning and very solid. Mostly the wear is to the paint or finish but there is also a medium size dent on the lower right side and the handle is missing form the right side. Comes as pictured without mounting hardware. Check the pictures for a more info. Measures 22″ W x 43″ H x 18 D. Fits standard 19 rack mount gear. The unit is large and is considered a oversize 3 package.
