This offer contains ONE (1) vintage made in USA Harman Kardon A224 Trio integrated STEREO tube amplifier. Includes the original box and the owner manual, 117 Volt AC, 50/60 Hz Version. The story of this amplifier is the following: the Komet factory in Switzerland was a HI-FI producer in the late 1959s to the 1970s. They ordered some of these amplifiers for test reason. They used them for a few hours and put them back in the original box. Please see the pics. The amplifier is tested and is in working condition. Even it is in working condition we will sell it as DEFECT! Because it is an almost 60 years old untouched, never modified or repaired item. Total original condition as delivered from the factory. Up for sale, a 1964 Fender Princeton in exceptional condition and in perfect working order. This rare, transitional “tuxedo” Princeton features the Brown Panel 6G2 circuit with Black Panel cosmetics, a pairing that only lasted a few short months. The Princeton has a tone that is very dynamic and warm, with crystalline clean tones giving way to rich, saturated overdrive as you turn up the Volume knob. The circuit is as pure and straightforward as they come, and the single Tone knob has a surprisingly wide range. The bias based tremolo circuit has a strong, dimensional pulse and particularly broad range of speeds too. The circuit is 100% original, with the stock pair of Schumacher transformers which date to the very first weeks of’64, and a chassis stamp that dates to 1964 as well. The preamp retains all of the stock yellow Astron and blue molded Ajax caps, central to the sweet, musical quality of Fender’s golden age circuits. All of the original CTS pots are intact, with visible date codes from the 8th week of’64. The tube complement includes a pair of Electro Harmonix 6V6 power tubes, with a pair of vintage preamp tubes from the likes of RCA, and a vintage 5Y3 rectifier. The tube chart is fully intact inside the cabinet, and the “NE” date code which translates to May of’64. The speaker is an era-correct square magnet CTS 10 driver, matching the cosmetics and tonal characteristics of the original driver. The original smooth black tolex is extremely clean with only a few minor scuffs and light edge wear, while the baffle retains its silver sparkle grillcloth which shows very minimal aging. All the stock hardware is present including chassis straps, sphinx glides, handle caps, and a set of original white barrel knobs. For sale is an Eico HF-81 with a partial restoration already completed. For whatever reason, the previous owner didn’t finish this project, but did seem to stay organized. I simply do not and will not have the time needed to dedicate to this so I want to move it on to the next owner who can. There are wires taped to the bottom cover that appear to have been removed but not replaced. Please see the photo with the bottom cover off. Unit does have some surface rust, especially on the inside of the bottom cover. Unit is in good shape overall. Power tubes are Russian, not sure of the condition of the other old stock tubes. Terms (Please read these). Please message me if you have any gear for sale but dont want to deal with listing. I live in Central California and travel to LA as well as the bay area often! You do not need to live near me. This rules comes from dealing with an older individual who offered an attractive trade if I delivered the speakers to him. This ended up being a tremendous waste of time. I sell mostly vintage electronics. As such, these items are old and typically out of spec from when they were new. I do my best to test these items and make sure they work before theyre sent out, but I do not guarantee or represent that they will meet the original specifications. I may not even be able to test them, in which case assume that they dont work. However, there are times where I may miss something. Vintage 1965 Fender Bandmaster Blackface AB763 Guitar Tube Amplifier Amp Head. This amp dates to early/mid 1965. The amp was fitted long ago with a 1964 Twin/Showman transformer to accommodate four power tubes to have the option for more power. Very much like a Showman now with a little more mid bite. The rest of the iron is all original dating to 1965. Operates as stock when using only two power tubes running at 40 watts. The feel is there and has all the great tone youd expect from a classic amp such as this. The tone stack on these blackface Bandmasters is such a killer tone and there is good reason why these are such classics. This particular amp is no exception. This one will make somebody very happy. No foot switch included unfortunately. Includes brand new set of JJ pre amp tubes and matched quad of Tung Sol 7591A tubes.
