The unit still powers up, and the turntable functions on all speeds. The only problem is when it’s switched all the way over 78, the turntable makes a scraping sound. I’m not sure if it’s missing anything for the tone arm rest. It could be similar to some of the guitar amplifiers they made. It’s in pretty good cosmetic condition, as you can see. There is one wear paint spot on the left bottom side. Otherwise, it’s in very good condition. I imagine this could be converted to a fine guitar amplifier.

This is a Very Rare Vintage 1941 Erwood Sound 4130 Western Electric Tube Amplifier Harp Microphone Speaker Amp. It features 4 microphone inputs, a phono input, and speaker outputs. The amp is in great cosmetic condition with wear from use and age. None of the tubes are by Western Electric and they also have not been tested. The last picture attached is a scan found online of Radio News Magazine from October 1941 that showcases this amplifier.

Knight Intl Vintage Tube Amplifier Original Clean Estate Find Allied Chicago IL. Just found in a local estate. It was an older woman and she did use it. I plugged it in and the tube lit up, but I’m not sure if it works or not. It has its RCA tunes. I’m pricing it low.

This tube (7062/ E180CC) is virtually the same as a 5965 in regard to electrical specifications. Audiophiles have been seeking it out since the price is generally lower than the premium ECC81 NOS prices currently. Like the 5965, it has slightly lower gain than the 12AT7, and has the added advantage of a 10,000 hour heater life to make it another audiophile “secret” tube. These are superb tubes. This tube is about a half-inch taller than the standard 12AT7, so chassis space is an important consideration. Amperex Made in Holland 7062. Tv7 tested NOS TUBES. Tv7 testing is tedious and I spend 12-13 hours a day testing tubes and double testing tubes – if you notice a mistake(like a picture doesn’t match the title) please be gracious and let me know. UNLESS PHOTOGRAPHED WITH THE ORIGINAL BOX- tube will come in repackaged white boxes- 50-90 year old cardboard packaging doesn’t hold together well. We have over the last 20 years amassed a huge collection of vintage amps/ parts / tubes and have decided to downsize that collection. Every tube has been marked for tracking and security purposes – these marks wipe off easily and without the mark no return will be accepted. Sound quality is tremendously SUBJECTIVE. This is a very marginal test, only for. This test needs sound amplification; hearing listening to noise with headphones would indicate a real disaster inside a tube (THE shorts test WOULD already BE evidence OF THIS). There is nothing wrong with performing that noise test. This test is not going to tell you whether the tube will be silent in your SET (single ended triode) amp or in anything else. Ultimately, the best way of testing a tube for microphonics is in an actual chassis or amplifier similar to one in which it is intended to be used. Since amps have a wide variety of circuit designs and tube placement, this test is most effective in YOUR AMP or one that is almost identical. Hence, most people advertising tubes as tested for Noise or Microphonics are probably NOT testing them in any meaningful way for you. “Noise” and “Microphonics” are often buzzwords for other issues. There is a small percentage of tubes that have a problem with noise but far less than most people think. In properly designed circuits objectionable “tube noise” is seldom found. In other words, it is a rare tube that will be noisy when used in most circuits. Always check the data sheet of the tube you plan to use. Tube testers and noise testing. Tube testers do not test for these problems in the manner in which you think, except to the extent that a tube tester with sensitive leakage detection will find far more “noisy” tubes than a tube tester with only “fair” leakage sensitivity, to the extent that the noise is due to this problem. Listening through headphones to tube on a tester is half as good as putting in amp and listening for noise. PLEASE message me BEFORE you open a return. Maybe the tubes are bad.. I cleaned them up as best I could. The left amp has an aluminum cover that covers the V-1 slot tube. The right one is missing.
