TELEFUNKEN S81 stereo tube power amplifier Vintage german for parts only. Stereo tube amplifier, made in the 1950ies by Telefunken. Without the two ECL82 tubes. One tube socket is not screwed in, but still connected with all cables. The big power capacitor is not connected. Right channel works when its connected, left channel not (its oscillating with high frequency sound). All at all looks good for restoring project.

Up for your consideration is a vintage Stromberg Carlson number 20 tube PA amp that was converted to a guitar amp. It is in really nice cosmetic condition and has 1/4″ input jacks and a 1/4″ speaker jack installed along with a lot of cap replacements and a nice heavy 3 prong ac cord installed. I was using this at one point but it quit working and if I remember correctly my tech said the output transformer was shorted. You can see a burnt wire in the pictures of the chassis underneath. I cut it on with all the tubes installed and they all glowed and there was no smoke but I got no output so that seems to verify what I remember. I will include all the tubes but the rectifier and 6l6 output tubes because I need them for another amp. This would make a very cool platform for a custom built with the attractive deco stying. Nice and clean guitar amp it has tube symptoms so all it needs are new tubes.
