Vintage Tube Amp

Up for sale here is this huge. Power transformer, dated 1957 and Made in USA. This was removed from a vintage Raytheon Microtherm heat radiation machine. I tested this, and with a 120v input (terminals 1/2) I tested the secondaries at 1460v (#4/5), 2910v (#4/6), 1460v (#5/6), and 360v (#3/4). Transformers usually test a little high when they’re not loaded, but these are still crazy high voltages. This is a massive transformer, so it should be good for plenty of current. This is used with light to moderate overall wear, and looks really good. It is guaranteed to work for you. This has some great specs and would be awesome for building something crazy. Fisher 500 C, listened to this unit for years. Still working, just don’t listen to anymore. Unit is in nice shape for its age, review the pictures. Black metal grill is easily seen in one picture. Grill is off on the picture showing the tubes in the back of the unit. I will include the cooling fan if you are interested. Fan is mounted on a wood stand with foam pad, I used for airflow when listening.
