Differnt from the other units it had this one has a 4 6l6 tube layout.

These amplifiers were removed from a working environment.

These are completely rebuilt vintage Allen Organ C3 amplifiers that are in excellent working condition. Plug & Play ready, comes with all working tubes as seen for each amplifier and power plugs. They are quiet, punchy, with a wide soundstage, strong bass and have easily outperformed many challengers in my listening room including vintage Macintosh 225, 240, etc. These amplifiers are highly rated in the audiophile community. Here for sale is a very rare matched pair of restored Allen Organ model 60 tube amplifiers. These are very powerful amplifiers, each with a new matched quad of Tung Sol 6L6′s in PPL configuration. Toggle switches were added to these amps to provide the option to run them in either Pentode mode or Triode mode. The restoration work was done 2 years ago by The Electron Addict shop in Papillion, NE. See pictures for a description of the restoration work. These amps are very quiet and have a wide, clear and very detailed sound. The bass from these amplifiers is deep and effortless. They are set up and available to audition in Lawrence. If youre reading this, you probably know what great amps vintage Deluxes are. Theres a reason theyre sought after classics. The Fender logo with no tail, no push-pull pot, and chassis serial number dates this amp to 1973. This amp was serviced by David Allen of Allen Amplification to get it ready for sale. David has a national reputation for amp design, building, and repair. It sounds great, and is ready to make beautiful music with your favorite guitar. There are new feet on the bottom. The Tolex is worn through on one of the top rear corners. There is some plating wear on the chassis straps and handle end caps. One of the knobs was missing, so I installed a replacement knob. The speaker is a Fender Eminence speaker. A past owner installed a pair of tweeters. They are unhooked and dont do anything. I left them in to block light from showing through the holes. Overall, this amp is in excellent working condition with typical cabinet wear for its age. SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY, PLEASE!
