Vintage 1950′s AMPEX A692 Amplifier loudspeaker Works. Plugged in bass guitar and it works. Probably could use a cleaning since its been stored away for years. The case is a little dirty too. Comes with original power cord. Cord shows its age but does power it on. Rare and harder to come by amplifier. Very sought after for the incredible sound. Will be double boxed and it is heavy.

Up for sale here is this single vintage Eico HF-14 tube amplifier, with serial number 2109. This came from a local tube guy, and came to me just as you see it. This has a fair amount of rust, which you can see in the pictures. There is no bottom cover or top cage/cover. The tubes are not included, but the tube shield/cover for the 12AX7 is included. This is A Super Cool Vintage 1950s Premier USA 110 Guitar/Harp All Tube Amplifier that’s in great vintage condition over all for its age (see pics). It is in the cosmetic condition shown, so be sure to see all of the pics (see pics). I tried to take really good pics, so you can judge for yourself (see pics). This amp appears to be all original with the exception of the power cord (still 2 prong). This amp has NO issues that I can find and operates as it should. Cosmetically it does show some age as you would expect, but still very clean overall. Definitely a super cool and vintage amp that you don’t find everyday and would make a great addition to your collection! Please look at all pics… What you see is exactly what you are getting. Very Cool Rare 1940s Vintage Silvertone Model 1300 Tube Guitar Amplifier. This has been sitting unused for many years. I do not have a VARIAC so I have not plugged it in to test it and possibly screw something up in the process. Given its age it would be prudent to have it checked over by a tech before use. I do not know its life history or if it had ever been modified by a previous owner so I have provided several photos of the interior so you can see for yourself what is behind the covers. Looks good for its age – needs some adhesive on some of the loose covering over the wood frame and a bit of interior dusting. According to the catalog, the 1300 was rated at 8 watts undistorted, with 12-14 maximum output watts possible at the cost of a slightly distorted sound.

Regarding pre-CBS vs early CBS, we’d like to clarify a possible point of contention with early 1965 black panel Fender amps. Apparently some people feel that 1965 is the hard cutoff date for pre-CBS though. We are not experts in any case so please do your own research to verify any appropriate information and analyze the detailed photos yourself to make sure you are comfortable with what you are purchasing. This Heathkit EA-2 was tested with a MP3 player into the crystal cartridge input and it sounds great! Of course, it sounds better in person! You’ll notice when it’s turned off, it kind of fades away as the capacitors discharge and the tube filaments loose power! The filter caps have been changed as you can see. There are a couple mods done by the previous owner. One is the addition of an output jack for a recorder (see close up pic), the other are diodes on the 6X4? Tube socket so the tube is not necessary. Looks like all you have to do is remove the diodes and a tube can be used again (see close up pic). Cosmetically it’s very nice showing just some minor wear. It may or may not work at all when you get it!
