Vintage Tube Amp

I’m letting go of a few things from from my collection, including this Audiotronics model 300 vintage tube amplifier amp project. Will make a killer guitar amp. If you like the Filmosound stuff, and single-ended amps, this one is great, rare and has a cool look with that front panel, just tweak the circuit and add your preferred controls. Has nice Triad power transformer, good sized output transformer, 6×4 rectifier, 6bq5 (el84) power tube, and a 6av6 preamp tube. Looks to be in stock form. Not currently in a working state.

THIS COMES AS PICTURED. I WOULD GUESS IT NEEDS THE WAX AND PAPER CAPS REPLACED AT LEAST JUST TO BE SAFE. IT WILL COME WITH ALL THE TUBES SHOWN. ALL OTHERS TO USE EIS.

The Stromberg Carlson AU-58 – a great sounding head for guitar. Original Stromberg Carlson Tube Set. The AC main cable has been replaced.. Sounds really good onb Harp or Guitar. Original Stromberg Carlson tubes. Condition is OK and to be expected for its age. There’s a serial number etched on the top of it, which seems to be common for these. Sounds great connected to a couple of 12 inch speakers and my Strat. Let me know if you have any questions. Made in the United States.

Vintage mid-1950s Heath Company hand-built Heathkit W3M “Williamson Type” mono tube amplifier and companion Heathkit WA-1 Power Supply in good working condition (see video). Appears to all original and unmolested. No hum and very good cosmetic condition for its age. Amazing that these were engineered so well that its working great after 70 years. All vintage tubes made in USA. Acrosound TO-300 “ultra-linear” output transformer. Being so old, it should be checked out by a qualified tech to replace any out of spec or obsolete components. The only issue I noticed was the multi-pin connected cable needs to be manipulated to find a sweet spot to make a connection, so there must a loose or frayed wire in cable end. Vintage The Fisher 500C FM Tube Stereo Receiver Amplifier (Most Original Tubes). Pre owned in working condition. I assume from the age, a cleaning and deoxit could be usefull. This has many original tubes The Fisher Germany. Missing gold round knob end plate on speaker selector knob. When testing the balance knob when turned all the way to the right does not direct audio just to right speaker. Left is fine, and when balance is centered, both speakers play correctly. I assume the potentiometer knob needs deoxIT due to age and oxidation. Please see video and photos, if you have any other questions, I will try my best to answer. See pics above.

Everything appears to be there to make a self contained guitar amp, or head. Uses a 6×5 rectifier, 6v6 power tubes, and 6sn7 with dual 6sc7 preamp tubes – tubes are all vintage.

I do a lot of business with them and they always have well cared for gear. Not saying it won’t need adjustments but, it looks like a nice clean unit. Everything you see in the pictures is what is included in this lot. Photos are the best description. Please look at all pictures closely before purchasing. We will document any damage the best we can but the photos will always be the best way to exam the item. Items may need a more in depth cleaning. I didn’t try to turn it on. Tube gear can be dangerous even when unplugged. Capacitors inside can hold hundreds of volts. Exposed wiring = shock risk.
