Vintage Tube Amp

SET OF TWO (2) VINTAGE MOORE FRANKLIN MONO TUBE AMPLIFIERS. Both these amps are in excellent working condition and excellent cosmetic shape. These mono amps are equipped with the famous Harman Kardan Citation II output transformers. Among some of the features are automatic protect circuit, standby circuit and individual bias adjustments for the output tubes. The amps are capable of 120 watts and there is a switch that will set the output for triode operation or 60 watts. The output tubes are 1980′s vintage General Electric 6550. These amps are built upon a beautiful oak chassis and all the finest components were used. They are heavy at around 70 lbs each.

This is a New Vintage 40 mvp Guitar Amplifier Head & 1×12 Cab, Loaded with WGS G12C speaker. The cabs had already arrives, so I built the amp. Comes with Bias Points and a Dwell control as second EQ for Reverb. This Head has a 2/4/8 ohm Impedance selector switch making the amp very versatile. It can be setup as follows. Each amplifier and power supply has been tested for power only, all power on, no further testing was done. On one of the power supplies the mounts for 2 capacitors have broken off, still works, see photo. Serial number have faded on 3 of the 4 units, with only one completely visible reading 3153. Overall absolutely gorgeous in person, these are tube line/mic amplifiers, the sound these produce is pretty stellar. I just don’t have the studio/rack space to keep them. I matched them up pretty well on L/R balance when running program material, the sound is clean. I custom made the aluminum rack ears so they can be added to standard 19 rack and each amp fits slightly over two units of space (so 3U each roughly, or maybe 5U together). All the tubes and components are original. Condition is absolute mint, there are very few slight marks, but nothing major. Definitely impressive in person, the VU meter bulb on one unit is intermittently not working.
