Up for your consideration is this very nice Vintage Bogen Mono Tube power Amplifier model M-330A that worked 40+ years ago. I believe this is a 30 to 35 watts amp. It is in very nice cosmetic condition with some scratches & scuffs from age & use. It has an assortment of connections on the backside like 3 microphone inputs, 2 phono Mag cartridge inputs, 2 aux inputs. Controls for mic 1, 2, 3, aux 1 & 2, master volume, bass and treble. I believe this is a 5 tube unit 2-7868, 1-7247 and 2-6EU7. It is all is original or at least when I bought it 40+ years ago. This Bogen has been in the family for over 40yrs & worked fine back in the day. It was passed to a to a different family member years ago & had been forgotten about until recently. The approximate size of this nice amp is 15″ long 10″ wide & 6 high. I package very well for a safe arrival. If you have any questions, please ask & I will promptly answer & as best as I can. Today’s listing is for.. Scott Model 222-B Stereo Amplifier. Works as it should! Priced to Sell Quickly , make your offer now! I took it to my Tube/Amp Guru, Doug McCalister, and he went through the entire unit. We needed to replace the 12AX7s so I bought a matched set of Tube Amp Doctor tubes. If you have the means and motivation, a set of original West German Telefunkens would make this lady sing even better than she does now! All other tubes and capacitors worked well! Very minimal work was necessary to get this lady singing again. Doug ran it for many hours to make sure everything was dialed in. Everything is balanced and sounds absolutely SUPER WARM and lovely! Replaced the original plastic feet with MUCH larger rubber feet, much better to protect the amp and whatever it is sitting on (see photos). This is the LOWEST PRICED H. Let me know if you want more photos. The setting sun had quite the ethereal effect on the photos. I will be checking my account episodically in the meantime. The item “H. H. Cool looking vintage Marathon vacuum tube Guitar and Instrument Amplifier. See photos for a good look. The cord looks good enough that I went ahead and plugged it in. It powers up, all the tubes light up, no alarming noises during the several minutes I left it On… But the amp sounds pretty sad… Has rattles and some buzzing, mostly from the speaker or cabinet, and maybe loose components I’m guessing. Two of the tubes are metal and two are glass. The control layout is… On/Off switch which is also the Tone control (Bass), the second knob is Tremolo (it works), last knob is Volume, (Loudness). All the controls worked when I tested them. There are three 1/4 inputs. An interesting and perhaps rare amp, it will not however replace your favorite vintage Fender or Marshall, it’s just a cool old practice amp really, more of a curiosity then usable stage amp.
