All original except for the transformer. When I received the amp it was out and broken so I replaced it with the proper mojo tone model. I still have the original transformer and it is included with the sale. Has 2 RCA power, 1 GE Rectifier, 1 RCA Preamp and the last preamp tube I’m not sure, it says made in Great Britain but no logo. Great sounding amp, no issues. The item “1965 Fender Princeton Amp All Tube 1×10 12 Watt Combo Blackface Vintage Guitar” is in sale since Tuesday, February 2, 2021. 1969 Fender Pro Reverb Drip Edge Vintage Tube Amp 2x12 with Blackface Circuit

Up for sale, a 1969 Fender Pro Reverb in excellent condition and in perfect working order, freshly recapped and retubed. A transitional model with “drip edge” aluminum trim and Silverface cosmetics, this amp still retains the same AA165 circuitry as its Blackface predecessor, as well as being one of the last Pros to retain the screwed-in baffle, a tonally impactful feature phased out by’70. Providing the general tonal character of a Twin Reverb, but boasting a tube rectifier and more manageable 40 watts of power, the Pro Reverb is a 2×12 amplifier with enough volume for large ensemble situations and the perfect balance between shimmering Blackface cleans and smooth, touch-sensitive overdrive. A great platform for effects pedals too, the cleans on this Pro are balanced, clear, and warm. Of course once you reach around 5 on the volume dial, things start to compress slightly, and you get that dynamic, glassy sound that adds just the right amount of grit to your tone. The tube-driven Reverb has plenty of splash and dimension, and the Tremolo has a strong, smooth pulse and wide range of speeds. The circuit has just been freshly serviced by our techs here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar, and the preamp is loaded with low-noise metal film resistors, original brown molded capacitors, and modern Sprague electrolytics. All of the stock CTS pots are intact, with visible date codes from 1967-68. The original power and output transformers are intact, along with the original choke, all manufactured by Schumacher and dating between mid-1968 and early’69. The small reverb transformer is a modern replacement. The power supply has been freshly recapped with Sprague Atoms, and a modern three-prong power cable has been installed. The tube compliment includes a pair of JJ 6L6 power tubes, along with a JJ GZ34 rectifier, and an assortment of mostly JJ valves in the preamp as well. The speakers are the original pair of Utah-made and Fender-branded 12 ceramic drivers with matching date codes from the 47th week of’68. The original speaker harness is intact too, as is the tube chart. The original smooth black tolex and silver sparkle grillcloth with turquoise stripe is intact, and the tolex is extremely clean, while the grillcloth shows modest, uniform aging. The stock hardware includes the original tilt back legs, chassis straps, corners, handle, and sphinx glides (feet). Check out our shop “Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar, ” and please let us know if we can answer any questions! We use double thick boxes, 1″ foam, and industrial 1/2″ bubble wrap to ensure that your amp arrives safely. 1963 Fender Vibroverb Vintage Blackface Pre-CBS Tube Amp 1x15 with JBL D130F, Ftsw

Up for sale, a 1963 Fender Vibroverb in collector-grade condition and in perfect working order. An extremely original and stunningly clean example of Fender’s rarest and most desirable Blackface amp, the Vibroverb was only made in the Pre-CBS Fender era, lasting from late-1963 through’64. This is one of the very first Vibroverbs made, with an extremely low A003XX serial number, Production Run #1 stamp on the tube chart, transformers dating between Fall 1962 and Summer’63, and even a brown two-button footswitch, an exceedingly rare accessory only officially offered with the Brownface 2×10 Vibroverbs produced a few months before this Blackface model began production. Perhaps best known for its association with Stevie Ray Vaughan, the Vibroverb delivers 40 tube watts via a pair of 6L6 power tubes and a JBL D130F speaker. The tone is clear and powerful, with dynamic Fender cleans that sparkle and twang. The highly efficient JBL speaker keeps things clean and tight, with very little speaker cone distortion even at high volumes, letting the light compression and velvety tube overdrive of the circuit be heard with stunning clarity when you push the amp near 10 on the volume dial. The Reverb has plenty of splash and dimension with a long decay, and the Vibrato (technically tremolo) has a strong, smooth pulse. The circuit is extremely clean and stock, with all of the original Schumacher-made transformers intact. The rare open bell output transformer dates to the 42nd week of’62, while the choke and power transformer date to the 7th and 27th weeks of’63 respectively. Visible date codes on the Stackpole pots date to the 18th week of’63. The preamp retains its full compliment of original blue molded Ajax caps, a key ingredient of the sweet, musical sound of Fender’s Blackface circuits. The power supply features a professional recap of the main filters with F&T caps, and the smaller bypass caps in the preamp have been upgraded as well, along with the bias cap and pot. The original two-prong gray power cable is still intact. The tubes consist of a modern pair of Sovtek 5881 (6L6) power tubes, with a genuine vintage Mullard GZ34 rectifier and a host of modern and vintage valves in the preamp including a few RCAs. The tube chart is intact and very clean, with crisp corners and an “MK” date stamp for November of 1963. The original JBL D130F speaker has a recone with a WHF cone and proper aluminum dust cap, and the speaker has a full, robust sound with no voice coil rub and incredible articulation. Cosmetically, this amp is an absolute stunner which has likely lived its life in the studio, due to the absence of any notable cosmetic wear. The stock smooth black tolex is exceedingly clean, and the original silver sparkle grillcloth has only aged sparingly, with lots of sparkle left in the thread. The original hardware is all intact and clean, with only the faintest patina on a couple of the corners and on the original Pat. This is a collector-grade and well maintained vintage Fender Vibroverb, ideal for the stage, studio and discerning player! The original brown two-button Reverb/Vibrato footswitch is included. Check out our shop “Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar, ” and please let us know if we can answer any questions! We use double thick boxes, 1″ foam, and industrial 1/2″ bubble wrap to ensure that your amp arrives safely. Up for sale, a 1967 Fender Super Reverb in excellent condition and in perfect working order. The amp features its original quad of alnico 10 CTS speakers, pushing 40 watts of pure Fender Blackface clean tone via a pair of 6L6 power tubes. Perfect for gigging situations and an ideal recording amplifier, the amp provides pristine, muscly Fender cleans until you hit the 4-5 range on the volume dial, where a bit of tube and speaker breakup sends the amp into smooth overdrive. The Reverb is lush and deep, and the Tremolo has a nice pulse, with everything from swampy and slow to machine gun fast pulses. The circuit boasts a well-maintained preamp, retaining all of the original blue molded Ajax tone caps central to the smooth, musical character of Fender’s Blackface amps. All of the original CTS pots are intact, with visible date codes from’66, and the preamp is untouched save for a few small electrolytic caps. The power cable has been upgraded to a modern three-prong for safety’s sake, and the power supply features fresh high quality Sprague Atom filter caps. The amp features a pair of matched Sovtek 5881 (6L6) power tubes, along with a Groove Tubes 5U4 rectifier and a combination of modern and vintage valves in the preamp. The chassis itself is very clean, as is the original faceplate and stock witch hat knobs. The original quartet of CTS alnico speakers are intact, all with clean frames and original blue foil Fender stickers on the magnets. The original speaker harness is present, as is the tube chart which has a QH date stamp, translating to August of 1967. The original smooth black tolex and silver sparkle grillcloth are in remarkable shape, with only very minor wear around the edges of the cabinet and one small snag on the grillcloth near the lower edge of the baffle. The original nickel corners, sphinx glides (feet), chassis straps, chrome pat. Pending tilt-back legs, and raised “Fender” logo are present, and all hardware is in excellent shape. This well-maintained and cosmetically clean vintage Super Reverb has been serviced to sound its best and run reliably for years to come, with modern power tubes and a clean bill of health. 1968 Fender Princeton Reverb Drip Edge Vintage Tube Amp with Blackface Circuit

Up for sale, a 1968 Fender Princeton Reverb in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original footswitch. A transitional “drip edge/black line” example, this amp features a set of unique cosmetic cues including a small tail-less Fender logo, aluminum trim framing the grillcloth, and thin vertical black lines on the early Silverface faceplate, denoting a Princeton Reverb which retains the same circuitry and components as its Blackface era predecessor. Freshly serviced by our techs here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar, the Princeton Reverb is the perfect amplifier for small club gigs and studio sessions. This classic Fender AA764 Blackface circuit delivers both well-balanced, sparkling cleans and smooth, harmonic-rich overdrive when you dime it out. The Reverb is extremely lush and the Tremolo has a nice pulse with a wide range of speeds. The circuit retains the original pair of transformers manufactured for Fender by Better Coil & Transformer, dating between late 1967 and the first weeks of’68. The preamp boasts most of the famed blue molded Ajax tone caps (an essential part of the Blackface sound), along with a few replacement caps, smaller top shelf Sprague electrolytics, and low-noise metal film resistors. The larger multi-section can cap in the power supply has also been recently replaced to ensure trouble-free performance, and the power cable has been upgraded to the modern three-prong variety. All of the original pots are intact, with visible date codes from the 2nd week of’68. The tubes consist of a matched pair of JJ 6V6s with an JJ GZ34 rectifier and a bevy of modern and vintage valves in the preamp. The speaker is the original Oxford 10J4 with a black frame and blue foil Fender label on the magnet. The speaker retains the original speaker harness as well, complete with the original speaker jack with Fender “F” cap. The tube chart is mostly intact and quite aged, with some tape on the edges. The original smooth black tolex and silver sparkle grillcloth with turquoise stripe are intact, with a few bald corners on the otherwise very clean tolex, and light, uniform aging of the grill. The original faceplate shows a speckling of light wear with a full compliment of witch hat knobs, and the hardware includes original chassis straps, handle caps, sphinx glides (feet), and small raised Fender tail-less logo. This vintage Princeton Reverb works exactly as it should, sounds great, and is ready for another 50 years of use. The amp comes complete with the original black two-button footswitch to engage the Reverb and Vibrato effects. 1964 Fender Princeton Non-Reverb Vintage Blackface Pre-CBS Tube Amp Near Mint

Up for sale, a 1964 Fender Princeton in stunning, collector-grade condition and in perfect working order, complete with a virtually untouched circuit. A first-year example, this vintage Blackface Fender is a true Pre-CBS era Fender gem featuring the early no-logo cabinet design and “Fender Electric Instruments” faceplate. Unlike its brother the Princeton Reverb, this non-reverb Princeton has much more clean headroom, as the lack of the reverb effect introduces less gain into the circuit, allowing the amp to be clearer and punchier, with a sound that has sparkle and chime indicative of the Blackface line and perfect for recording situations. The controls are simple and intuitive, and the bias-based tremolo circuit has a nice even pulse with a wide range of available speeds. The circuit is untouched save for a new bias cap which has been cleanly sleeved in the original brown Astron wrapper. The original Schumacher-made output and power transformers date to 1964, and visible codes on the original Stackpole pots date to the 40th week of’64. The famed blue molded Ajax tone caps are intact in the preamp, instrumental in creating the sweet, musical character of Fender’s Blackface circuits. The tubes consist of a matched pair of brand new EH 6V6 power tubes, with the original Amperex GZ34 rectifier and RCA-branded 12AX7s in the preamp. The tube chart is clean and unfaded with crisp corners and an “NL” date stamp that translates to December of’64. Typically the tube chart date is the latest on any Fender, which is true in this instance as well. The speaker is the original Oxford 10J4 10 ceramic driver which has just been professionally reconed. The speaker has a clean black frame and date code from the 43rd week of’64. The speaker is wired to the original harness with the flat metal cap seen on the earliest Blackface speaker jacks. The nickel hardware on the amp is completely original and the faceplate is particularly clean, with stock witch hat knobs. Up for sale, a 1967 Fender Vibro Champ, freshly serviced, very original, and extremely clean cosmetically. This little Blackface-era Fender wonder delivers five watts of pure Class A tube tone. A surprisingly loud amp with the original alnico 8 speaker, this Vibro Champ has just the right amount of glassy, sparkling clean tone before pushing into smooth, lightly compressed tube overdrive at about 4 on the volume knob. Dynamic, responsive, and absolutely huge sounding when you put a microphone in front of it, it’s hard to beat the Vibro Champ for pure simplicity and great tone. And of course, Fender’s lush sounding tremolo circuit has a strong pulse and wide range of speeds, perfect for subtle shifts in volume or machine gun chop. The circuit is very original, with only a few new Sprague electrolytics and a couple substituted resistors in the preamp to keep the amp operating optimally. The stock Schumacher-made transformers date to the 27th and 46th weeks of’66, and visible date codes on the CTS pots date to the 15th week of’66. The tube chart is intact with a “QD” code which translates to April of 1967. The tube compliment includes a JJ 6V6 power tube and matching preamp tubes, with a vintage RCA 5Y3 rectifier. The speaker is the original Fender-branded Oxford 8 with a clean blue Fender label on the alnico magnet and date stamp from the 25th week of’66 on the edge of the frame. The original smooth black tolex and silver sparkle grillcloth are extremely clean, with plenty of sparkle in the thread and limited aging of the cloth. The faceplate is stunningly well-kept too, complete with its full compliment of witch hat knobs. The stock handle caps, sphinx glides (feet), and chassis straps are all intact, and the hardware shows sparingly little surface patina. This Vibro Champ is an ideal example of Blackface tone that sure to delight both discerning collectors and serious players. I picked this amp head up from the family of the guy that was the backup sax player for Clarence Clemens in Springsteens band in the 80s or 90s. Really thats what they told me. So this head looks good. The pics on the tube sticker say AA864 and the other stamp says OC. It sure looks like an O. If its not an o then it sure aint a Q. So anyways I have seen conflicting data on dating and it appears this is a 64 or 65. So the OC means March of 64 and I guess the AA864 means 65. I plugged it in and turned it on and nothin. Then I checked and there was no fuse so I put a 2 or a 4 amp buss fuse in and it came on and lasted about 30 seconds then the fuse blew. So there you have it. Please look close at the pics, they are part of the description. The numbers on it are 125A13A and 606502.
