Vintage lot of NOS Sprague capacitors in original cases. These came from an electronics repair / parts collection and have been stored clean and dry. Most boxes contain unused capacitors and are marked with capacitance, voltage ratings, and Sprague series (GA, HY K, HYERCON, 5GA, 5HK, etc). Includes a mix of high-voltage values ranging from 200V up to 2000V, with microfarads from. 02 depending on the box. Great for tube amp builds, radio repair, test gear restoration, or anyone who likes period-correct Sprague components. What you see is exactly what you get. About 18-22 individual boxes in total.

Up for sale here is this set of 5 used vintage Sprague Black Beauty 160P capacitors. 22 uf 400v, and tests around. 23.28 uf, with fairly low leakage, so they should work fine at full voltage in an amp. This is a Pine Electronics tube amp from the 1960s. It is in excellent condition, all the capacitors have been replaced (both electrolytic and tone caps), and has a good set of tubes installed. The only thing missing is the front emblem. This amp uses a 12AX7 pre amp tube (JJ ECC 803), a 35Z5 rectifier (Marconi), and a 50L6 power tube (Marconi). If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Offered for sale are the vintage Sprague Bumble Bee Mylar capacitors as titled and pictured. Fully tested for both value drift and leakage. Detailed test results according to my Sencore LC75 Analyzer can be seen in the photos (in no particular order). This is a particularly nice group of caps that all measure within 10% of their rated tolerance, even though their original spec is 20%. Note: for those measuring caps with a DMM, my Fluke DMM shows these as being a few nF higher most in the. 040.043 range but I have displayed the LC75 results in this listing since it’s a calibrated purpose-built machine for analyzing capacitors to a high level of accuracy. These were pulled from vintage equipment, have drifted in value, and show some DC leakage. As such they are being listed as not working even though they still might be usable in lower voltage applications. I randomly measured exactly a third of them (20 out of the 60) with my Fluke DMM, and the average value reading was 0.136mfd. These all came from the same source so it’s likely the others will measure around that same range.
