Original 1958 Fender Bassman 5f6-a complete working chassis (minus tubes). If you’re here, you probably know these Original 5f6 amps sound amazing, but if you haven’t experienced an Original late 50′s Bassman amp in person you’ll certainly be in for a treat. The chassis plating has light pitting, the control panel overall is very clean, one added preamp tube socket previously, so there is a filled hole under the chassis, not visible when installed. Two small holes on the ends of the chassis and one small screw securing a broken pinch weld in the one corner. Also not visible when installed in an cabinet. Overall very good vintage original condition. Has a replaced power transformer (Soursound), 3 prong power cord, has bias trim pot, replaced selenium rectifier with diode, caps replaced upon previous service, 3 pots, 4 input jacks and 2 rca output jacks. This is a killer sounding amp and a wicked players piece! Please let me know if you require any additional pictures or have any questions.
Original early 1959 Fender Bassman 5f6-a complete working chassis (minus tubes). If you’re here, you probably know these Original 5f6 amps sound amazing, but if you haven’t experienced an Original late 50′s Bassman amp in person you’ll certainly be in for a treat. This amp chassis is largely original, most importantly the coveted Original Output transformer is in place. This is a great start to a project, or if you have an original cabinet with a heavily modded chassis this is a great opportunity. The chassis plating has light pitting, the control panel overall is very clean, one small ding near the bass control that is not very noticeable when installed in the amp. Silk screen overall is very good, however there are some areas showing wear and faint in spots. Overall very good vintage original condition. Has a replaced power transformer (Classic tone), 3 prong power cord, has bias trim pot, replaced selenium rectifier with diode, some caps replaced upon previous service. Please let me know if you require any additional pictures or have any questions.
Vintage Tube Amplier Repurposed CBS 12AX7 + 2x 50C5′s Push Pull Handmade Chassis. I’ve repurposed an old CBS record player amp. It has original vintage concave style knobs, vintage power switch, and original speaker, but has an orange led for “on” indicator. You can use either stereo or mono. You only need to hook up either one of the RCA jacks in the rear for it to work. A low powered input is strong enough to power this beautiful 1950′s looking “radio” for original tube sound! The case is handmade from plywood and mdf with a plexiglass window. It has a 6 original speaker which had three very small holes in it which I repaired. I’ve run this for many hours without a problem and it sounds great! I’ve not tried it with a guitar, but it might work as a guitar amp. It has volume and tone controls. Original can capacitor and selenium rectifier were left on the chassis for show only and are not in ANY way electrically hooked up. The filter capacitors test fine with a high voltage tester to the microamp range. I only have a very basic schematic drawn on graph paper as I couldn’t find an exact schematic so I had to reverse engineer it. It is a very simple push pull design, so not too difficult to follow. Has a two prong polarized five foot power cord with a 1 amp internal fuse. This is originally a transformerless set, but now has an isolation transformer. There is NO electric connection between the chassis and the wall plug whatsoever! Note: This sale is just for the Amplifier. Other items in the photos are for photographing purposes only. Thank you for your interest!
