Excellent condition, but I can’t get it to power up.

A vintage tube amplifier from what I believe is a Guild New Englander console stereo! The tube amp doesn’t have all of its tubes but there are some here. Some wiring is cut. There are a few tubes here, but a few are missing. There are scuffs, scratches, and stains scattered about. Will come as shown, so please see photos! This is a tube amp pulled from a console cabinet… I believe it was pulled from an american console, Perhaps our rca ge not entirely sure. I’m listing as is parts, repair need servic.

This mono block was pulled from a console cabinet stereo. It needs to be gone through… I’m pretty sure it came from a telefunken… There’s a chance it could have came from a grundig or something else german.

This is a very early golden age RCA Monitor amp from the famed Sun Records 76 Console. This monitor amp is also PERFECT for the audio lovers out there who use RCA turntables and wanna listen to music on this incredible amplifier! Has huge UTC input and output transformers. The transformers all test perfectly. The input transformer reads 5k on the ohm meter which is actually 50k ohms the normal mic/line ohms for the secondary of the input transformer. Also reads perfect for the 150 ohm and 300 ohm inputs on the primary. The output transformer reads perfect too as shown. The amp has not been tested further or turned on. It needs FULL restoration before it is turned on. What you see is what you get. It has wear and tear throughout but should restore easily with a tech. This is the holy grail for audio listeners or recording folks. This monitor amp can also be used as a mic preamp or line amp. (4) 6j7′s and a pair of 1621 power tubes which are 6v6/6L6. Very Good USED Vintage Condition with some blemishes in the wood as shown in pictures. Some discoloration on front of speaker grills when closed, also shown in pictures. THIS STEREO HAS NOT BEEN RESORED OR TAMPERED WITH, I DID NOT ATTEMPT TO ADD STAIN TO THE BLEMISHES IN THE WOOD OR CLEAN AND AIR HOSE THE KNOBS. AS ALREADY MENTIONED THERE IS SOME SCRATCHYNESS IN THE KNOBS IM SURE DUE TO AGE. BOTH SPEAKERS WORK, WITH A LITTLE TLC THIS COUILD BE A GREAT SOUNDING VINTAGE GE STEREO SYSTEM. Masquerading as a tabletop radio, it actually has the capability to be a full-blown stereo. Ability to connect external speakers, and also to connect a turntable. Separate Amp, pre-amp and tuner all contained in the same walnut cabinet! Unusual design, where speakers have NO wiring; the connection is made thru the hinges. He telescoping antenna is in great shape but could use some cleaning. Overall very nice piece from the 1960′s. Stereo WORKS with some scratch noise in volume knob. Most likely needs cleaning as this stereo is 60 years old. If volume knob is wiggled or turned back and forth the sound gets better. All Knobs do work. He tuner dial lights up great, the’Stereo Star’ light does not illuminate. Measures approximately 18″x12″x5 with speakers closed’ and.

Vintage Packard Bell Tube Tuner Pre-Amp with Graph. It says Solid State but obviously has tubes so I guess it is both? Powered on and lit up but had no sound. Definitely the coolest console unit i have ever seen – the crosshair graph to change stations is awesome!
