Vintage Tube Amp

For sale is the Utah Field Coil Speaker. It has the push pull output transformer (45 triode tubes pair) connect to the speaker field coil in serial, resistance coil is about 2500 ohm ; the voice coil diameter 1 inch, 6.7 ohm. Item is tested at 150 VDC apply to the field coil, strong magnetic field, the speaker is working good, the sound is great, sweet musical analog sound. Heavy speaker 15lbs (20 lbs package) Please see the pictures for more detail. This listing for the Utah Field Coil speaker only, the Lambda 150V power supply tester is not included. It is a rare and valuable piece of vintage tube amp audio equipment from the United States. Vintage Magnavox AMP 101-B Tube Amplifier with Original Field Coil Speakers. Unit was brought up slow on a Variac and powers up fine. The 6V6 output tubes when tapped or rubbed with fingers become microphonic enough to be heard through both speakers. No further testing has been done. One speaker has a small cone tear as can be seen in pics.

I bought this a few months ago as a working unit. I’ve never had a tape to see if it does work but As far as I know it does. The product is an Akai M-8 Cross Field Stereo Reel-to-Reel tape recorder with vintage tube amp technology. It is a dual reel-to-reel system that is in working condition. This vintage audio equipment is a piece of consumer electronics that falls under the category of vintage electronics.

They are priced to sell, super super cheap for this quality! Here is a super pair of Baldwin D520-10H 40 Watt field coil amplifiers from 1950! Holy Smokes, look how clean these are! These have been in my collection for decades and I have always kept them in a heated and air-conditioned building! The serial numbers are 7251 and 7253. These were made almost one after another on the assembly line. Each amplifier uses: (4) 6l6GC, (2) 5U4G and (1) 6SN7GT. Tubes are not included. I used these amplifiers years ago and they worked great. I have not had them on in a while, transformers are guaranteed, and I would recommend a quick recap to bring these back to these full glory! These amplifiers really sound great. We ran these on a pair of extremely old field coil Lansing speakers and just loved them. I’ll never forget that light airy sound with stereo imaging that I just haven’t heard of since. Great to find a wonderful stereo pair in such wonderful condition. The red manual IS NOT included! We use all brand new boxes and packing material from Uline. Each amplifier will be packed separately, so you will receive 2 boxes.
