Vintage Tube Amp

This Bogen DB20 mono tube amplifier is a recent “barn find” survivor, housed in its original wooden case. The case measures approximately 17 inches wide, 11 inches deep, and 11 inches tall. This unit is in original, unrestored condition and appears to have been in long-term storage for many years. While the exterior has been cleaned, please note there is surface staining on the metal chassis and a slight musty scent consistent with its barn storage history. In an initial safety test, the unit powered on quietly and the vacuum tubes showed a healthy glow. However, during a subsequent attempt to film a video of the unit, I heard a sizzling sound and noted a burning scent. I immediately disconnected the power to prevent any damage to the transformers. Condition & Restoration: I have listed this unit in the “For parts or not working” category. It contains all-original 1950s internal components, including capacitors that have clearly reached the end of their service life. Additionally, the original power cord is in rough shape and must be replaced. To ensure safety and reliability, this amplifier must be thoroughly inspected and serviced by a qualified technician before any future use. This is a “pure” restoration project and a fantastic find for a collector or audiophile. The wood case and internal transformers remain the primary value of this unit.

This was a state sale find from woodside California and was plugged in every thing worked. Now no power at all. Was upgraded to new cabinet 18.5 by 18.5 by 19. By a professional radio shop for the ladies husband in the 80s it looks beautiful. Just don’t enough knowledge to figure out why not powering up. When it was working prior. Has every thing in the one cabinet the tube amp and tuner all wired and mounted solid. Or can meet within 60 miles for a better price. Only to lower 48 states only.

Mosvalve/Bk Butler RT-2100R rack mount amp. 100 watts of power. Fantastic clean and overdrive tones. High quality US made amp at a great price point. Used but good overall shape.. Some crackle in the volume knobs, most likely just dirty pots, evens out, only crackles when moving the knob. Has 2 brand new 12ax7 preamp tubes. The gentleman said it was his father’s equipment and had been up there for a VERY long time! We will not test these due to their age! The tuner was the worst as it was exposed to critters. It will need a deep cleaning at the very least, as it is quite bad. Also the pre amp power cord is very dirty and a little stiff. Most of the tubes appear to be original, but there are some replacements. Also the power fuses are in perfect condition, which is a means a lot! Knight Intl Vintage Tube Amplifier Original Clean Estate Find Allied Chicago IL. Just found in a local estate. It was an older woman and she did use it. I plugged it in and the tube lit up, but I’m not sure if it works or not. It has its RCA tunes. I’m pricing it low.

Heathkit AA-151 Vintage Tube Stereo Power Amplifier. I recently picked this up from a local CT estate with some other quality electronics. I’ve only tested this for power. It may be missing one tube in the rear as you can see in the pictures. It is very clean on the inside, no dust or residue at all. Appears to have been lightly used if at all. The Heathkit label is missing from the front and it does have some minor scratches on it. The power cord is clean and in good shape. There is no owners manual with this. I did try it with some JBL’s but got no sound. If there is a trick to connecting 8 ohm speakers please let me know and I’ll try again. Otherwise it may need the missing tube. Vintage 1960s Paris Corporation PC-1 Tube Guitar Amp Estate Find! Tested working as it should. Tubes heat up fast and starts playing with 10 seconds or less. Played it the other night with only a delay pedal for about 2 hours. Sounds great for its size. Not the loudest amp but has tone for days! May want to put a newer updated one on.
