Voice of Music (V-M) STEREO record player with Center Woofer. New cartridge plays stereo and mono records. Powerful Vacuum Twin Tube amplifiers, 6 tubes total. Note: A 45 spindle adapter IS included. Has a hole in back of cabinet where an output jack had been installed but now removed. Front Center Speaker: 6 round, bass alnico woofer. Tube Compliment: 35W4 x 2, 50C5 x 2, 12AX7 x 2. 6 tubes total in twin separate amplifiers. Has 2 output transformers approx. Cartridge: Tetrad, STEREO with new tone arm wiring harness, Diamond. 07 mil for LP’s on one side of flip over style needle and 3 mil Sapphire on the other side for 78′s. Watch it play a couple 78 record on YouTube: coming soon. V-M 4 Speed changer: 78, 45 16 and 33 RPM. New rubber motor mounts. New idler wheel (rebuilt). Original speaker grill cloth on sides have a few stains still in excellent condition. Front center speaker grill cloth replaced with new. Case has been cleaned and detailed inside and out. There are minor former blemishes on case as seen in listing photos and YouTube video’s. The amplifiers have been rebuilt and serviced with new electrolytic filter capacitors and all old wax tubular capacitors replaced with new ceramic capacitors. All tubes replaced with vintage tubes that tested strong. The volume, Treble and Bass controls on each amplifier have been cleaned with Deoxit. The speakers have been inspected and cleaned of all dust bunnies. The left and right 4 speakers have been replaced with new speakers. The power cord has been replaced with a new white power cord that is in excellent condition. A little about me. It is my passion to bring you the very finest restoration I can. My quest to explore, diagnose, repair and service electronic and mechanical devices. Began when I was 7 years old. I’d get up very early, everyday in the Summer and on Saturday mornings during the school year. I’d take my Huffy bicycle. Around TV service and electronic repair store rubbish areas. I’d hit the trash cans of neighbors, industrial and retail centers, collecting interesting. Specimens of electronic chassis and motor driven gizmos, to dissect, study and organize. In my teens I built and studied projects from Heathkit and. Other schematics featured in Mechanics Illustrated, Electronics Illustrated and similar related publications. In the Navy I went to school, studied and. Worked as an Aviation Electrician repairing and servicing military aircraft. Now that I’m retired, I still love to tinker with electronic and mechanical. Several radios, record players, amplifiers, and color wheels that I will be restoring over the next several years. My goal is to make these old, vintage. Devices function like new again. This is a used Knight tube mono amplifier. It is in very good cosmetic condition; see the pictures. It uses EL84 output tubes in push-pull config. It is in stock form and has “phono” and “tuner” inputs. It can be rewired for more gain (it has 2 – 12AX7′s). It has been used recently and it sounds good, playing an entire CD without any problems (CD player was plugged into the “tuner” input). It had a new power transformer installed, but it still does not have a fuse (as it came from the factory). The chassis was painted where the new transformer was installed but the paint does not match the surrounding area. All the tubes tested good on a Sencore TC154 tube tester. Here we have a very rare set of Grundig Loud speakers lautsprecher Model Hi-Fi- Raumklangbox 100, with the Grundig Amplifier and the Gundrig Tube Tuner plus some extras. The Speakers are the biggest and the best Hi -Fi speakers made by Grundig. There are 9 speakers in each cabinet, Tweeters, Mids and a Woofer. Same Finish as the Grundig Studio 50. One small ding on the left side of one cabinet. Eache Cabinet: 21″w x 16″d x 33.5 h. Tubes all checked and replaced where needed.
