Vintage Tube Amp

The product is a pair of vintage Jensen Hypex VH-91A-ST-942 metal loud speaker horns, designed for use with a low to mid power hi-fi tube or solid state amp. These speaker horns are known for their high-efficiency & high-quality sound and iconic design, making them a sought-after item for vintage audio enthusiasts. Great coupled with a 12 vintage woofer and a 1500 hz crossover and a L-Pad to attenuate the higher efficiency horn. The Jensen brand is well-known for producing top-notch audio equipment, and these speaker horns are sure to deliver excellent sound performance for those who appreciate classic audio technology.

Here we have a pair Philips tweeter speaker, made around 1959 by Philips, Hamburg plant, West-Germany. These bakelit horn drivers have phenolic membranes and 8 Ohm impedance. The Pout is around 12 Watt from my papers. These were fit in aluminium horns at that time. I have more pairs of these Philips in stock. (last pictures shows my stock). The Magnets are type cross AlNico. Perfect for any low power single ended tube amp.
