Vintage Tube Amp

Up for sale here is this neat vintage Knight integrated tube amplifier, from 1955 and Made in USA. This is a mono amplifier. This is used with moderate to heavy wear and some rust/corrosion, and has an incredible patina. This has no bottom cover or top cover/cage. I believe this normally uses a 5U4GB rectifier, two 6L6 output tubes, two 12AU7 tubes, and one 12AX7 tube (goes under the tube shield). This has been worked on previously and has some new parts underneath. I tubed this up and brought it up on a Variac, and it does work and play music, but there is a fairly loud hum in the background, probably from those old can capacitors. This should be fully rebuilt in order to work properly. It will be an amazing amp once it’s done. I will guarantee the transformers to be good. Please see my pictures for details. Up for sale here is this neat little vintage tube amplifier. This is a neat little series-string tube amp, with two 50C5 output tubes and a 12AU7 driver tube. Tubes are included but are untested and may need replacing. This appears to be a little push-pull mono amp, and could be made into a sweet little guitar amp, though you should add an isolation transformer. This has three controls and has the original knobs on it, which are in great shape. Cosmetic condition is great, with just light wear. Please see my pictures for details. Up for sale here is this neat vintage Knight 94SX 700 tube amplifier, from the 1950s and Made in USA. This is a mono amplifier. This is used with moderate wear, and has an incredible patina, with that amazing vintage paint job. The source selector switch shaft appears to be broken off, but the shaft stub can be turned with a flathead screwdriver (not included). The other pots are there, and have knobs on them. This would be a great amp to mod into a guitar amp, so you won’t need a source selector anyway. This uses a 5Y3GT rectifier, two 6V6GT output tubes, and three 12AX7 tubes. Tubes are included but are untested and may need replacing. It will be an amazing amp once it’s done. I will guarantee the transformers to be good. Please see my pictures for details. All tube guitar amp from vintage parts hand wired se fake knobs. Up for sale is my latest amp called fake knobs because of the use of magnavox knobs on the front of the amp. This amp has a modern design that has 2 volume or gain controls plus a master volume, around 5 watts power. The amp is on the verge of break up and the more you turn up the gain the more the dirt. Besides using a 6l6 you can use a el 34 or other power tubes. The amp comes with a jan rca coke bottle tube, 2 vintage american 12ax7s and a 5y3 vintage tube. The transformers are old american iron. The pots are new alpha brand, f and t caps. Lots of good stuff. There are 150 dollars worth of parts on this amp, it could be modified easily to what you want , very maintenance friendly. The amp slides out after removing 4 screws for easy access. The top of amp is wood from a 1940s radio, with nice wood grain. Here is a link to a demo of the amp on you tube.
