Vintage Tube Amp

I’m letting go of a few things from from my collection, including this Lafayette PA-622 vintage tube amplifier project. These make killer guitar amps! The exterior case has some wear, but the amp itself is solid – needs typical updates like new. Servicing, desired mods/conversion – pictured tubes are included – 7189 Mullards!

I’m letting go of a few things from from my collection, including this Masco MA35 vintage tube amplifier project. These make killer guitar amps! As you can see, the amp has been updated and converted for guitar use, but it is untested by me, though in the same condition as acquired – needs typical updates like new.

I mostly sell older, used items – expect them to show wear and have some flaws. I try to give the best descriptions I can. It’s possible that some items may have unobservable or internal problems or damage that I’m not aware of. I do not completely disassemble items for inspection. Make sure the address is up to date and correct. I avoid using UPS. I try to charge as close as possible to actual costs.

Fresh from an estate. Unknown maker of this amp. Has a Lafayete transformer. Still had a Ken Rad 5u4G inside. Unknown as to whether this thing will work. Has a simple on off switch on the front. Built like a tank. Also comes with a heavy industrial metal cage. The item is heavy so UPS ground is the best option.

The unit has been professionally re-capped and is in good working order. If you know what it is and how to use it, you will love it.

Lafayette Stereo-224 Tube Amplifier. Parts/Repair – THE 3 TRANSFORMERS TEST GOOD. I do not know the history of this and did NOT plug it in. This is in nice condition. The faceplate was dented on left side – see pictures. There may be other things I missed. See pictures as they are part of the description.

Great Collector’s Item from 50+ years ago……… Vintage Lafayette 1971 Model. 12/25/1971 Diagram is included. Recommend Deoxit contact cleaner for static free sound. The last photo shows speaker wire conversion kit. The kit is not included in this sale. This type of amplifier does not meet electrical code. Not isolated from power line, can be a shock hazard.
