Vintage Stromberg Carlson Tube Amplifier Amp Mono Model APH-1030. For Part or Repair.

This is the ORIGINAL Marantz amplifier (model 1 was a preamp), produced from 1956-62. 40 W ultralinear, 20 watt triode. For specs and history. I bought them from a friend and daughter of the original owner about 15 years ago. They had been sitting in her basement since her father’s death some years prior. They had been in the house her entire upbringing. When I bought them, I was told by many people that if I wanted to “flip” them, that I should sell them as-is; but if I wanted to use them that it was imperative to have the components thoroughly tested and refurbished as needed. I very much wanted to used them, and so I had both amps were refurbished by Mike Samra in 2008. I have enjoyed them ever since. I just had them inspected by Benny Amina at Amina Audio in May 2023. I can provide additional photos for serious buyers.

Silvertone Medalist Model 7405 Stereo Tube Integrated Amp. Similar if not identical to the Medalist 3029 model. Works as it should and sounds great. All controls and tube sockets have been cleaned. All inputs have been tested. Has some scuffs & scratches. Looks like 2 of the can capacitors have had their components replaced.

Vintage Voice of Music Model 1450 Tube Amp. Class A EL84 tube amp. Mini Marshall Plexi Champ. It breaks up sweet. There’s a video on Youtube, just look up model. 2 tubes are Sylvania and the 6X4 is RCA black plate. It did turn on, tubes glowed and I got music playing out of it. This unit will need refreshing, probably a cap job, 3 prong and fuse to be safe etc. Probably needs a few resistors replaced, looks like one tube was running a hot. The one tone pot back plate is bent. Please look at pictures closely. If you need more pics please let me know. It looks all original and overall in very good condition. Seeburg Model HFMA2 High F. Idelity Master tube type mono jukebox amplifier. The history of this amp is unknown by me as it was my late fathers. Was a service tech for jukeboxes arcade games and vending machines. Throughout the past year I have slowly been going through everything he acquired throughout many years and yet to have anyone with buyers regret. Vintage Voice of Music Tube Mono Amp Model 1450. The only testing I was able to do was plug it in. I don’t have a mono input plug for testing. The unit did get get warm and the tubes glowed.

Mostly all original except one capacitor was replaced and mounted using a perf board. Bias adjust meter makes setting easy. The 6550 output tubes have lost their key as shown in photo, there is an arrow that shows how they are inserted correctly without the key. Multiple Taps for different impedances. The amp will also drive a 70 volt line, 100 Watts at 50 ohms.

Signs of wear, including scuffs and scratches are visible on the unit’s body. No other parts/accessories included. The Electronic Engineering Co.
