The unit was not fully tested, so I’m offering it as-is for parts / repair only for a final sale. Does not come with any tubes. Condition notes; pretty nice overall cosmetic condition for its age. The item does have a cigarette smell odor. Estate find, I don’t know much about this item so I can only comment on what I tested. The unit powers on. The front knobs all appear to be functioning. Item was tested with 4ohm speakers on the 4 ohm settings and the sound works. Please see video above in my listing, that is the extent of the testing that was done. Only very basic minimal testing was done as shown in the video. Does not come with the tubes that are in the video. The vast majority of the outputs/inputs on the back of the unit and speaker screws on the back were not tested. Missing a few screws on the bottom of the case. Due to its age, it’ll probably need some going over / looking over, new capacitors, and possible repairs, etc. Some wires are a little dirty and dusty. Vintage Zenith Stereo Hi-Fi 6BQ5 Tube Amplifier Model 4K21 – See Video. We tested a turntable with it, and it was also working. We tested the 6BQ5 tubes with a tube tester, and both tested below the minimum good value of 50 (tested at 46 and 44) and had shorts. The 12AX7 was tested right at the minimum value of 32. We did not test the 5Y3. The last photo of the tube diagram was from the console it came from and is not included, for reference only. Cosmetically, it is in good condition with light wear and some marks/stains on the face. The amplifier may need updating or repair, even though it was functional, due to its age. Please see all the photos. It has Stancor Power Transformer 95-1953, 20VAC, 50/60 Cycles, 1386226. It has 2 output transformers by Ensign Coil (95-1957-AR, 1726218). The face measures 13-1/8 x 6. USA Made Dual 6V6 powered tube amp turntable. The knobs are noisy, would need to clean the pots to remedy this. The two front indicator lights don’t light up, so the bulbs would need replaced if desired. Unit is in nice condition! All of the tubes heat up. Unit isn’t further tested.. I couldn’t find much information on femco but I do know they made old coal mining equipment as-well. (Cord is cracked a little bit) Item is in overall good condition, item may show a few signs of cosmetic wear/flaws due to storage/use. Please view and inspect each photo before purchasing.
