Bogen Challenger CHS-100 Tube-Powered PA Amplifier Vintage Untested – Powers On. When plugged in this powers on (a light appears) but untested further.

Offered is the Tube Amp from the RCA model 400 Projector. The amp is clean and in good condition. It is a 7-tube type with lineup as follows: 6J7, 6J5, 6SN7GT, (3) 6V6GT and 5Y3GT. It powers up on Variac-testing, all tubes light up. The amp has Push-Pull 6V6GT output and a 6V6GT driver tube. All electronics within appear original and in good condition. The controls rotate freely and all original knobs are included. The amp housing is very clean and free of rust or corrosion. The output transformer appears to be a replacement by Empire Coil-it is bolted to the chassis with machine screws, not rivets. These amps are high-quality Hi Fi types desirable for audio systems of all kinds. Also suitable for DIY work. 12 1/4 X 8 X 7 inches in size and about 15 pounds packed up. The unit was not fully tested, so I’m offering it as-is for parts / repair only for a final sale. Does not come with any tubes. Condition notes; pretty nice overall cosmetic condition for its age. The item does have a cigarette smell odor. Estate find, I don’t know much about this item so I can only comment on what I tested. The unit powers on. The front knobs all appear to be functioning. Item was tested with 4ohm speakers on the 4 ohm settings and the sound works. Please see video above in my listing, that is the extent of the testing that was done. Only very basic minimal testing was done as shown in the video. Does not come with the tubes that are in the video. The vast majority of the outputs/inputs on the back of the unit and speaker screws on the back were not tested. Missing a few screws on the bottom of the case. Due to its age, it’ll probably need some going over / looking over, new capacitors, and possible repairs, etc. Some wires are a little dirty and dusty. Rare Vintage Bell Carillon Model 6060 Tube Amplifier. Does not come with a tuner, or tubes or any other accessories. Comes as shown in photos. That’s all the testing that was done. Seems to be real clean inside. Also the power cord coming out of the unit has the plastic coating of the outside part of the cord torn as you can see in the photos.

Vintage Heathkit AA-40 tube stereo power amplifier. Powers on but HAS NOT BEEN TESTED. The mono-stereo switch is missing the knob. The switch is still present and switches between mono-stero fine.

This vintage amp is an estate sale find and he put notes on most of his stuff. This amp says it’s good but I have not tested it myself. It does power on. No tubes are included.
