Vintage 1965 Fisher PROFESSIONAL SERIES X 100C 7868 Tube Amp for REHAB! S & PROBABLY CAPS ORIGINAL DAMAGED COVER INCLUDED IF YOU WANT IT. VERY NICE FIND – doesn’t seem to be messed around with and interior is surprisingly clean. No tubes – BUT thought of one simple test that will be important to a new owner! Checked for high voltage on the power supply filter cap & here’s what I got. Looks pretty impressive to me and it would be safe to assume that the (expensive) power transformer is okay. I’m sure that the amp will require or at least benefit from new caps (standard procedure for all old tube amps). No further testing will be done by me – I’m not that talented and don’t want to mess up a perfectly good project for someone. Used antique electronics item. Jump on this opportunity!
