Simpson 260 Series 6M Multimeter w/ Leads & Manual-Serviced, Calibrated & Tested. The Simpson 260 Multimeter is an industry “Gold Standard” VOM since introduced in the 1930s and, with its accuracy, is still the preferred choice for testing professionals. This Simpson 260 Series 6M is a winner as it has been serviced, calibrated, and tested by Steve McKinley of Atlanta Tube Amp, who is a Simpson 260 metrologist and a longtime user of the 260. A previous owner attached a “MASTER” nameplate (see photo). There are some “nail polish” setting marks on the control panel which a previous owner applied.
