VINTAGE DYNACO DYNAKIT STEREO 70 TUBE AMP PERFECT WORKING/ SERVICED + 2 FAT XF1. Vintage Dynaco Dynakit Stereo 70 tube amplifier in excellent working condition. I bought this piece all dusty and without been used for years from a garage sale a few years ago, it had one broken tube. I took it to my local Audio Service guy he cleaned the whole thing , change some capacitors , add a new EL 34 tube and set the bias, bench tested for 2 hours or so and I got it back , I bought for new matched EL34 tubes , connected it to my Marantz 2270 receiver and my Klipsch speakers and have been using it 6 days a week , 6 hours a day for the last year and never had a problem , it sounds beautiful. I play Lps most of the day and I really enjoy it but it’s time to upgrade and need to find a home for it. I’m adding pictures of the old capacitors , the old tubes (two are MULLARD Fat Brown base EL34 Xf1 still good and the other two are old xf2 black base EL34 tubes) , the receipt for the service and a Manual I print out. Up for sale, a 1980 Fender Princeton Reverb in excellent condition and in perfect working order. One of the very last genuine vintage examples from the original Silverface era of production, this Princeton Reverb has been freshly serviced by our techs here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar. The perfect amplifier for small club gigs and studio sessions, the Princeton’s circuit delivers both well-balanced, sparkling cleans and smooth, harmonic-rich overdrive when you dime it out. The Reverb is lush, and the Tremolo has a nice pulse with a wide range of speeds. The circuit retains the original pair of transformers manufactured for Fender by Schumacher, dating between late 1979 and the first weeks of’80. The preamp boasts a full complement of original blue molded capacitors, with a few new Sprague electrolytics to ensure optimal performance. The larger multi-section can cap in the power supply is still functioning as intended too. All of the original pots are intact, with visible date codes from the 50th week of’79. The tubes consist of a matched pair of JJ 6V6s with an JJ 5U4 rectifier and a bevy of modern valves in the preamp. The speaker is an era-correct Oxford 10J4 with a black frame and blue foil Fender label on the magnet. The speaker retains the original speaker harness as well, complete with the original speaker jack with Fender “F” cap. The tube chart is mostly intact. The original smooth black tolex and silver sparkle grillcloth with orange stripe are present and notably well-kept. The original faceplate has plenty of shine with a full complement of witch hat knobs, and the hardware includes original chassis straps, handle caps, sphinx glides (feet), and small raised Fender tail-less logo. This vintage Princeton Reverb works exactly as it should, sounds great, and is ready for another 40 years of use. Up for sale, a 1968 Fender Bassman head in excellent condition and in perfect working order. This clean and well maintained vintage Fender head has transitional “drip edge” aluminum trim and an early Silverface faceplate, as well as the AA568 circuit. Recently retubed and biased with a pair of Sovtek 6L6 power tubes, this amp has a clear, powerful Fender tone that’s ideal for use with guitar or bass. The perfect platform for players who use a variety of pedals, the Bassman delivers a robust and dynamic tone, and after around 5 on the Volume dial the amp starts to push into smooth, lightly compressed tube overdrive. The circuit features original Schumacher transformers that both date to 1968, along with original CTS pots which also date to’68. The circuit features a professional recap of the power supply, as well as a new bias capacitor and a couple new caps and resistors in the preamp to ensure everything is operating within original factory spec. An additional knob was at one time added to the faceplate and subsequently removed, filled with a clean chrome plug. A three-prong power cable has been installed as well. The chassis itself is quite clean, with a stunning silverface faceplate, turquoise lettering, and original black witch hat knobs. The original tube chart is also present inside the head cabinet, with only the light wear on the top left edge. The original smooth black tolex and silver sparkle grillcloth with turquoise stripe are intact and in great shape, and the stock aluminum trim is present as well. The stock corners, handle caps, and sphinx glides (feet) are also intact, while the piggyback clip bars are no longer present. Cosmetically, there is very little wear to report, with a few tiny scratches near the input jacks and a light scuff or two on the enclosure, but as the photos show, this is an extremely clean and well cared for vintage Fender Bassman head! This particular radio, amp and controller combination is in a very good cosmetic condition and full working order. The tube radio picks up LW, MW, KW and UKW signals (Broadcast, Long Wave, and FM). It has some wearmarks here and there and signs of use. Omn the top some cracks in the lacquer, which aren´t much visible and yellowish spots. It looks fantastic for its age. Tubes were checked and defective replaced, new bulbs, defective capacitors and resistors were replaced, all individual parts were cleaned, the housing complex was cleaned and polished, all mechanical parts were cleaned and re-oiled, technically checked, etc (Please look at the pictures). He radio controller is in an perfect working order. All switches and knobs work well treble, bass, etc. The sound is clear and very powerful! A truly design classic by Dieter Rams which is in many museum permanent collection. All functions are guaranteed. The 11 tubes are in a very good working order.
