Vintage Tube Amp

>>PLEASE NOTE- The lamp was hand built and made by an American folk artist and NOT a Fender made product, this is a one-of-a-kind lighted art piece made as a tribute to the legendary Fender guitar Company. Whether you are a fan of the brand or simply appreciate vintage folk art & advertising, this lighted tribute is a great addition to your collection. The Art Deco theme has a huge presence of elegance and sophistication, and this light/sign originality is sure to impress. The light is an antique all metal atomic machine age Art Deco lamp housing with a removable top for easy bulb change. There is chrome fender guitar accenting suspended on metal deco pillars and a small power on amber indicator light under the center of the logo to give it a warm tube amp glowing feel/vibe. The finish is a satin sheen liquid silver and flows beautifully with the chrome accents. There is aging and patina on the inside of the main top shade and under side of the base due to the lamps age. There is also some knicks and scrapes on the light’s housing as well as imperfections under the newer satin finish such as slight pitting etc. There is some paint flaking by one of the bottom fastener nuts on the base. Overall the light is fairly light weight but is made of antique pressed steel and very stout/sturdy. Approximately 10 3/16″ Diameter at the shade x 15″ tall. This is a hand built folk artist tribute to Fender guitar and amps that has a purpose you can use as well. We feel it is EXTREMELY unique and a possible great gift idea for any Fender enthusiast who already has it all and likes the unique folk art. PLEASE NOTE- Please review all photos using zoom and there is plenty more photos upon request, the original lamp platform used is approximately 90 years old and this piece was built by hand, so please keep in mind there are imperfections throughout, feel free to ask questions if needed if your unsure on anything prior to purchasing. Extremely unique large Folk Art vacuum/Valve tube lighted sign display. MEASURES – 31″ WIDE X 16″ 1/2 TALL With Tubes in. The box by itself measures 22 3/8″ WIDE X 8 3/16″ TALL X 4 DEEP From wall. The display box was from an antique repairman’s tool box cover from the 1930s-40s. The sign has heavy patina on the metal corners and hinge plates. There are scratches and imperfections in the original Tolex such as chips and scrapes spots worn away and some age staining scattered. The pictures show the sign well but of course nothing beats seeing it in person. The sign was made of many antique parts and newer parts as well to create the sign. The glass tubes are many different brands from Rca – Zenith The wooden box used is from an antique Tung-Sol workmans tool box. 100% of the lighting is LED currently so not much power is used and very little heat created. The two bottom lights are a standard socket size and could hold any standard bulb if someone wanted to change the look. The two current large bottom bulbs are LED as well and have a moving pulsating electrical type motion inside the glass and change many colors as well while in operation. The back metal cover is secured on with large magnets so very easy to remove if needed to get inside for servicing or bulb replacement. The top vacuum tubes are lit by Led”s connected by very sturdy metal flex tubing which makes for easy bulb changes if needed. Simply change the bulb and re-position the arm back into position. Just an amazing piece of lighted Americana Folk Art ingenuity, creativity, and overall skill it took build. Literally the only one on the face of the earth. ALL bulbs and tubes will be included with the sign. There are some extra LED bulbs for the top tubes and extra orange LED lights for the side lights included if ever needed. NOTE- there where colored dots placed on the back of the tube bases to help with the alignment/placement of the tubes when you receive the sign. This is an electrified Folk Art piece Hand built and very nicely done, however please have a qualified individual inspect and advise if any concerns or questions, that would be to the new owners discretion.
