BELONGS IN A MUSEUM! This is a SPECTACULAR, NEAR MINT, VINTAGE 1978 FENDER SUPER REVERB SILVERFACE ELECTRIC GUITAR 4-10 COMBO AMP. Not much you can say about an amplifier this nice. EVERYTHING WORKS, SOUNDS AWESOME. 1978 was the first year for a middle control on Channel 1. It features a PUSH/PULL MASTER VOLUME/BOOST. Comes with the original footswitch and cover. As a basic test I have operated this amp for at least 4 hours recently and it did not fail, smoke, throw sparks, blow fuses, start on fire, etc. Old electronics are scratched, worn, chipped, cracked, dirty, dusty, stained, ugly, tinkered with, missing parts, etc. The exteriors have wear that includes cuts, holes, tears, scuffs, missing stitching, missing or replaced feet, handles, knobs. In the course of servicing over the years, they typically do not have all original components. Old electronics typically hum and have scratchy controls. Old electronics can fail at any time. This is part of my estate. LOOK AT ALL MY LISTINGS!!! You should not have to live with something you are unhappy with for any reason. If you alter, modify, change or “repair” the item in anyway without my consent, you are accepting the item “as is”, at the price paid. We will work through the claim together until things are right.

Has some typical corrosion on some metal parts, which adds to the allure! This Champ is an exceptionally great sounding one. Based on the transformer codes, it is from 1972. Fender logo with tail. It has some really good tubes in it. I’m trying to sell some nice vintage gear I don’t use much anymore…

This Fender Bronco Tube Amp is in great shape for its age; this is the same as a Vibro Champ, the only difference is the front metal plate. It is a 1971 manufactured combo amp: The chassis is stamped June 14, 1971. The Speaker is an Oxford, dated the 18th week of 1971 (4657118). The output transformer is dated 6th week of 1971 (606-1-06). The power transformer is dated the 20th week of 1971 (606-1-20). The 2 12AX7 preamp tubes seem to be replacements from original, but the 6V6 output and the 5Y3 rectifier tube appear to be original (in my opinion). The only flaws are some pitting in the metal amp straps and the handle metal end caps. There is also an area where the tolex is separated on the top corner (shown in the last picture). The amp sounds great with an electric guitar, all controls work and it’s quiet when idling. The pots and tube sockets were treated with contact cleaner (spray). The serial number is: A30098. The grille cloth backing is slightly warped; look at the lower right corner of the amp in the first picture. This could probably be fixed by attaching the corner better staples? Since 2 tubes (the 12AX7′s) have been replaced from originals, this is considered to be 99% original. Up for sale, a 1974 Fender Super Six Reverb in excellent condition and in good working order, complete with the original two-button footswitch. One of the most imposing and powerful vintage tube amps ever concocted by Fender, this Super Six Reverb essentially combines the circuit and chassis of a Twin Reverb with six 10 CTS speakers, identical to what you’d find in a Super Reverb. Well-kept and professionally maintained, this Super Six delivers detailed and powerful clean tones that easily fill a room and keep up with any band. The amp has sweet, musical overdrive qualities as well when you really push the circuit, and with the Master Volume the Super Six can be pushed hard for breakup or dialed back for use in more modest situations. Add Fender’s tube driven reverb and optical tremolo circuit and you have the perfect platform for a wide range of genres. The circuit features all original transformers which date to 1974, and the preamp is virtually untouched save for a couple modern Sprague electrolytics. Visible codes on the CTS pots date to the 2nd week of’74. The amp has been recently retubed as well with a matched quad of Tung Sol 5881 (6L6) power tubes, along with all of the original matched RCA preamp tubes. The sextet of original CTS 10 speakers are present with remarkably clean frames and blue foil Fender labels on the alnico magnets, all featuring viable cones. These speakers have clean date codes from the 18th week of 1974 on the edges of the frames. The amp retains its original smooth black tolex and silver sparkle grillcloth with orange stripe, quite well-kept and an ideal candidate for the studio. Given the sheer size of the Super Six and its stage-centric design, it’s very rare to see one as preserved as this example. There’s a bit of wear on the enclosure edges, and plenty of sparkle left in the grillcloth. All of the original hardware is present including the corners, handle caps, and chassis straps, all of which show uniform surface patina. The Silverface faceplate retains all of the original witch hat knobs, and even the original set of casters is present, mounting on the side as per factory spec.
