Up for sale is a tube amp chassis that appears to be a console pull but i couldn’t identify what from. The only items remaining on the chassis is the pair of UTC transformers, tube sockets and wiring/caps below. The tube sockets are marked and this was a 6v6 push/pull amp. Here’s a fabulous vintage VM tube amplifier. This is an amplifier/speaker that originally complimented a VM reel to reel player. You can use this with an iPhone, iPad, CD player, etc.. There’s a convenient RCA input on top, along with a 1/4 Jack for a microphone! The 6V6 amplifier has been redone with all new capacitors and resistors. Including a new crossover capacitor in the dual speaker section. There’s a great little red pilot lamp in the front, that lets you know the unit is on. Works and sounds like new! Beautiful, warm, full tube sound is what you get. From this fun and unique unit.. The top lid is hinged and also removable. There’s a neat little storage area inside too! The original cabinet covering is still in decent shape, having some common wear from age and use, see photos. An all together beautiful sounding vintage mono amplifier. The fine item you are considering is a Vintage 1974 Fender Twin Reverb Tube Guitar Amplifier Amp. This super cool vintage Fender Twin Reverb dates to 1974 based on its chassis number, and its still in great working, great sounding condition. Reverb is working great. I cant get the vibrato to work, but Im guessing you may need to footswitch to switch it on (not sure). The amp shows typical signs of wear from age and use, and theres a replacement wood panel across the back. Also, one original speaker has been replaced (upgraded in my opinion) with a Jensen Special Design. Please see my photos to have a look at this nice item.
