Vintage Tube Amp

Vintage UTC Linear Standard MLF tube amplifier, manufactured circa 1954 by United Transformer Corporation (UTC). This is an extremely rare mid-century hi-fi amplifier built during UTC’s golden era and designed around original UTC transformers throughout. Units like this rarely come up for sale in complete form and are highly sought after by collectors, restorers, and transformer enthusiasts. I do not have the proper equipment to safely power or test vintage tube electronics, and no attempt has been made to plug this unit in. Due to its age, please assume it will require service, restoration, or parts replacement before use. No guarantees are made regarding functionality. Cosmetically, the unit shows normal age-appropriate wear and patina consistent with a 1950s amplifier. There is no obvious major damage visible. Please refer to the photos carefully, as they are considered part of the description and show the exact condition of the item. I HAVE A PAIR OF VERY RARE VINTAGE WESTERN ELECTRIC KS-16846-L1 LOUDSPEAKERS. RATED AT 45 OHMS AND 7.5 WATTS. MADE BY ATLAS SOUND FOR WESTERN ELECTRIC. IN VERY GOOD SHAPE FOR THEIR AGE, A FEW SMALL DINGS. NOT MANY OF THESE AROUND THESE DAYS.

This Fisher 500-C (serial number 64267U) is in really nice cosmetic condition. The front panel looks terrific with very little cosmetic wear. We cleaned the controls with electrical contact cleaner, but that’s about all the work we’ve done. The tubes are all original and branded for Fisher, including all of the Telefunken smooth plate 12AX7 tubes! It’s playing great and has been tested with the auxiliary and phono inputs. No issues were found! Please keep in mind that the tubes are untested and I cannot guarantee their condition. Also, a cabinet and plastic feet are not included. The bottom line is this… You’ll receive your item on time and in perfect condition regardless of how big, heavy, or delicate your item may be! Vintage Teisco 10 1960′s era Tube Combo Guitar Amp. Nice vintage condition with common signs of reasonable infrequent use. My amp tech replaced a few caps and resistors, otherwise appears to be original.

Very Cool Rare 1940s Vintage Silvertone Model 1300 Tube Guitar Amplifier. This has been sitting unused for many years. I do not have a VARIAC so I have not plugged it in to test it and possibly screw something up in the process. Given its age it would be prudent to have it checked over by a tech before use. I do not know its life history or if it had ever been modified by a previous owner so I have provided several photos of the interior so you can see for yourself what is behind the covers. Looks good for its age – needs some adhesive on some of the loose covering over the wood frame and a bit of interior dusting. According to the catalog, the 1300 was rated at 8 watts undistorted, with 12-14 maximum output watts possible at the cost of a slightly distorted sound.

Amp is in excellent working condition. Comes with original foot pedal. Was used recently by a guitarist. This is a very clean amp. It has wheels added which many guys like. Speaker is a Jensen.

Estate find, very old. I have not attempted to plug in and power on. Not sure exactly what it is. The only branding I see is on the volume indicator.
