Stunning HH Scott 222c Vintage Tube Amplifier. 4x 7189 Telefunken Vintage (measured on TV-7: 72, 72, 71, 71: min > 42) All Matched #’s. 4x ECC83 12AX7 Telefunken Vintage (measured on TV-7: 39/38, 38/38, 40/39, 38/39: min >32) All Matched #s Blackburn. 1x GZ34 JJ Electric (Tesla). Superb visual condition – look at the face, knobs, inside chassis! Slowly powered on through my variac, brought up to full levels over a couple of hours. Plays music, sounds sweet and warm. This amp was originally listed as having a loud hum… I checked out the GZ34, and one side was measuring super low. I replaced with a new GZ34, now it is wonderful!!!!!! There is still a very minor hum, audible only if I place my ear very close to the speaker when no music is coming through. Also – when the volume (loudness) is at 0, I can still hear a bit coming through the speakers… Very low but audible. Likely needs a good pot. Perhaps needs a filter cap to be perfect. I’ve spent a few hours listening to this warm, loud, punchy and extremely detailed amp. It is simply amazing. For long term, extended use, plan on servicing (caps), but as-is, it is damn impressive. If you are local to 01749, please come listen to it. There is simply nothing to hide with this amp. Cover is included, as well as original manual. I will pack super safely – removing the cover, wrapping it separate, removing tubes and bubble wrapping them. Placing the amp in a box by itself with bubble wrapping galore. Double boxing the entire package and insuring. Original knobs, cover etc. Once of the nicest visual examples of a vintage HH Scott Integrated Stereo Tube Amplifier I’ve ever seen. Appears to have been kept on a shelf most of its life. I’ve been asked a few times to show inside. Picture below (as I cannot add more than 12 to the listing photo gallery). This is a VINTAGE 1960′s Gibson guitar amplifier. Made in the USA. Model GA-35 RVT, Lancer. It is 100% complete and functions properly. I have cleaned the controls and inputs, no scratchy pots. It was recently service. The only things needing replaced were the power section capacitors and a bias cap. Both pilot lamps work, as do all the controls. This is a road worthy TONE MONSTER! Channel 1 controls are volume, bass, treble. Channel 2 controls are volume, bass, treble, reverb, tremolo speed and intensity. This is the Gibson response to the Fender Deluxe Reverb. Also similar to the Ampeg Gemini II. The tube lineup includes USA and Holland brands… RCA, Amperex Bugle Boy, Westinghouse. The CTS speaker is dated the 30th week of 1966. Includes a copy of the schematics. This amp is plenty loud enough to gig with. If you are looking for the tone and power of a 100 watt Marshall, this is not your amp. If your looking for the tone of a Fender Twin Reverb without making your ears bleed or breaking your back, you will love this amp… And IT’S A GIBSON!! Old electronics are scratched, worn, chipped, cracked, dirty, dusty, stained, ugly, tinkered with, missing parts, etc. The exteriors have wear that includes cuts, holes, tears, scuffs, missing stitching, missing or replaced feet and knobs. In the course of servicing over the years, they typically do not have all original components. Old electronics typically hum and have scratchy controls. As a basic test I have operated this amp for at least 4 hour recently and it did not fail, smoke, blow fuses, etc. Old electronic can fail at any time. That is a bargain. This item is heavy and will require extra time and care to package. Please take a look at the last picture and my other listings. I have a great collection of amps for sale now. One need a little service. One is a wall hanger. The tube amps include a made in USA Gibson Lancer GA-35 RVT with reverb and 12 inch speaker, an American made Gibson BR-4 that is in need of restoration, a rare Alamo Fiesta amplifier with tremolo and a discontinued Fender Super Champ XD modeling amp. The Solid state amps include a vintage Sears, Roebuck and Co. 1-12 combo with distortion, A Kansas made JMF Electronics Spectra 122 combo with reverb and master volume, a Marshall 12 watt Lead 12 model 3005 Mini Micro stack with 2 10 inch Celestion G10D-25 speaker cabinets and a battery or AC powered Vox DA5 modeling amp with a plethora of effects. WOW, that’s a room full! We will work through the claim together until things are right. Up for sale, a 1965 Fender Bassman head and matching 2×12 cab loaded with stock Jensen C12N speakers and complete with fresh Tung Sol power tubes and original RCA preamp tubes. 100% original aside from a new bias cap and three-prong power cable, this vintage Blackface Fender amp is a true AA165 circuit Bassman with a Pre-CBS “Fender Electric Instruments” faceplate and date codes between late 1964 and early’65. For clarity, warmth, and headroom, this Bassman excels at delivering sweet and articulate Fender clean tones. Once you reach about 5 on the volume dial, the circuit starts to overdrive smoothly and compress a bit, for a raw, thick sound that’s perfect for guitar or bass. It’s a simple and pure vintage Fender “piggyback” head and cab setup that provides a perfect platform for effect pedals, and is ready for stage and studio use. Arguably the circuit available for the briefest period of time in the Blackface era, the AA165 circuit designation is seen on many tube charts (Leo Fender was never one to waste anything), but under the hood, the actual AA165 circuit was only seen for a few months in early’65 before transitioning to the AB165 that would be seen through 1968. On this particular amp the tube chart still refers to the earlier AA864 circuit, but the chassis layout conforms to AA165 specs. The circuit retains all of the original transformers with a power transformer dating to the 46th week of 1964 and a power transformer that dates to the second week of’65. All of the original blue molded Ajax caps are present in the preamp and the amp even retains all of the stock filter caps which are working as intended with no leakage. On the inside of the head cabinet, the original tube chart is present with a “OB” date stamp which translates to February of 1965. The amp is fitted with a modern three-prong cable. The tubes consist of a pair of brand new and properly biased Tung Sol 5881 (6L6GC) power tubes, along with a trio of RCA 12AX7s and a General Electric 12AT7 phase inverter tube. The speaker cab is loaded with a pair of original Jensen C12N speakers, and these 12 drivers are arguably the most desirable speakers for the Blackface Bassman. These speakers are detailed, clear, and well balanced, overdriving with very rich and balanced overtones. The frames are very clean, the original gold Jensen/Fender labels are present, and both speakers have their original cones. Cosmetically, this is a clean and well cared for Bassman with original smooth black tolex on the head and speaker cabinet. The grillcloth on the cabinet is original as well, while the head has genuine vintage cloth with aging consistent to the cab. There are only a few requisite scuffs and nicks on the edges of the enclosures, as well as one small bald spot on the cab just north of the front left corner. All of the original hardware is present, including the tilt-back chrome legs, nickel corners, handles, sphinx glides (feet), and Fender logos. The faceplate is also quite clean and complete with original witch hat knobs. There’s a bit of light patina on the hardware as well as faint aging of the grillcloth on the cab in particular, but that’s about the extent of any wear! This Bassman is clean, complete, and works exactly as intended for delivering powerful Fender cleans and thick overdriven textures. Up for sale, a 1962 Fender Twin in excellent condition and in perfect working order. Fender’s premier tube combo amp in the Pre-CBS Brownface era, the Twin featured an identical chassis to their largest piggyback Fender amp, the Showman. A 2×12 affair with green frame Jensen speakers and 80 watts of power via a quad of matched General Electric 6L6 power tubes, this Twin is a powerhouse. The cleans are big, bold, and warm, with a huge range from the EQ controls and Fender’s famed Harmonic Vibrato circuit. Unlike traditional tremolo (volume modulation), this circuit has true pitch shifting vibrato with Leslie-esque warbles and thick, pulsating swirls. The perfect middle ground between the dynamic, saturated tones of the earlier Tweed era amps and the clarity and shimmering cleans of the later Blackface line, this Showman has a very warm and nuanced sound, with absolutely giant transformers that keep the low end thick and focused. The cabinet is brand new and built to vintage spec by Mojotone with rough blonde tolex, solid pine baffle, and oxblood grillcloth. The cab is fitted with genuine Fender hardware including nickel corners, dogbone handle, chassis straps, and chrome tilt-back legs. The Jensen speakers are both genuine vintage USA-made speakers with one alnico P12PS and one cermaic C12PS. Both speakers have clean green frames, original bell covers, and Jensen foil labels. The circuit has been fully serviced and recapped, with new bypass capacitors and new filter caps as well. The majority of the original famed Ajax blue molded tone caps are intact, providing the sweetness, clarity, and balance found with vintage Fender preamps. All of the stock pots and carbon comp resistors are present as well, along with original cloth wiring. The amp boasts a quad of vintage USA-made General Electric 6L6 power tubes as well as a host of vintage and newer valves in the preamp. The original transformers are all intact, with the absolutely massive output transformer often known as the “Dick Dale” transformer, spec’d to be cleaner and more powerful than any Fender transformer that preceded it. The original faceplate is in great shape with all of the stock cream barrel knobs. This Twin is thoroughly serviced with all original transformers, a vintage quad of power tubes, vintage Jensen speakers, and a new Mojotone cab made to vintage spec. Check out our shop “Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar, ” and please let us know if we can answer any questions! We use double thick boxes, 1″ foam, and industrial 1/2″ bubble wrap to assure that your amp arrives safely. Rare Vintage Lafayette 417 6L6 Tube Amplifier 1939 1940 Western Electric Caps

Up for sale here is this neat vintage Lafayette 417 tube amplifier. This is extremely rare–I have never seen anything like it, and I cannot find anything on the internet about it. It is in pretty good condition, with light to moderate wear overall. The power transformer has a lot of rust and paint blistering, but the rest of it looks good. This appears to have all original tubes. The tube complement is. 5Y3G rectifier (RE2 date). 2 6L6G (RE2 and X1 dates). X1 is January/February 1939, and RE2 is March/April 1940, s o this is probably from around 1940. The face and knobs look great. I brought this up on a Variac, but I was unable to get any sound out of it at all, though the pilot light and tubes do light up. However, I really have no idea how to hook it up, so I was just guessing. This has an empty socket on the right side of the back inside, which may be for a mic transformer of some sort of might be for a speaker–I’m not sure. This will probably need the usual recap/rebuild before it is ready to use. I noticed that the can capacitors inside are Western Electric, which is interesting. Please see my pictures for details. If you have any questions, please ask. I have a number of other tube items, collectibles, and vintage electronics listed–feel free to take a look! 1969 Marshall 1987 Tremolo 50w Plexi Amplifier Head Vintage Tube Amp #32152. MODEL: 1987 Tremolo 50w. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: This listing is for a vintage 1969 Marshall 1987 Tremolo 50w Amplifier Head. One of the cleanest examples you will come across! This particular amp has a lay down transformer. What this means is that Marshall built it with one of the transformers laying on its side. According to some Marshall collectors, having a transformer lay on its side makes a harmonic difference in the tone which produces a richer distortion and feedback compared to models which have their transformers in an upright layout. The previous owner had the power cable replaced, which is usually a desirable upgrade and makes a nominal difference in the amps “originality” or collectibility. All original except for power cord. Loaded full of Siemens & Telefunken tubes. ACCESSORIES INCLUDED: This item comes as seen in photos, and does not include any accessories. PHYSICAL CONDITION: Excellent – About as nice of shape as an amp of this age can be found in. Truly a lovely sight! Lining and tolex is free of tears or rips of any sort. Front-panel knobs and switches are a pristine as it gets. Rear-panel is perfect as well. Overall condition is excellent! WORKING CONDITION: Excellent – Such a superb sounding Marshall head, it’s almost impossible to put into words. The tone is stunning, both channels are amazing sounding and work as perfect as a brand new amp. The creamy, rich, and lush tones that emanate from this amp are simply astounding! Furthermore, every function on this amp works perfectly!! Front-panel control knobs, switches, and inputs work flawlessly! The front-panel LED indicator is mighty bright and looks as great as this amp sounds. Overall working condition is excellent! UNPACKAGED WEIGHT: 34 lbs. UNPACKAGED DIMENSIONS: 8.5″ x 26″ x 10. We strongly suggest that you check your order after receiving it to be sure that it is in proper working order. NOT WORKING FOR PARTS AS-IS. We do our best to fairly evaluate the condition of a non-working item and give an honest description of any symptoms. When you receive an item, open the package using a box cutter and be mindful not to tear up or throw away the box or any internal packaging. Without having to curb your enthusiasm of basking in the glow of your new piece of gear, think in terms of preserving it in its mint condition until certain you are keeping it. For instance, if it were rack gear, we would recommend avoiding racking it until you were certain it was a “keeper”. Thus preventing any possible “rack rash” or scratches. If it were a guitar pedal, avoid sticking Velcro on it and mounting to your pedal board until it passed your test to be knighted and sit at your round table of pedals. Although tempting to have both of your favorite things together, put down the chicken wings slathered in barbecue sauce that is dripping all over your leather vest and beard and be sure your hands are clean and dry before trying out your awesome new gear. Harmony 304 A Guitar Amp Vintage guitar amp Fender Amp Jensen speaker Tube Amp

They are getting more rare. Get it now and it’s yours. No more I knew I should have spent that 80 dollars more than I wanted to. It would be sitting here now. I don’t play guitar anymore, Or I’d hold onto it another ten years when it was worth more than I’m asking now. It’s a1962 Harmony guitar amplifier in great condition. They were both in mint shape when I bought them in 1982. I only used the amp for about two hours total. I bought an accoustic shortly after and never really learned to play guitar. The amp just sat. It’s got a couple stains on the front from something. Not sure whatever caused them. Over time they just seem to have gotten a little worse. The cloth is in excellent shape as is the whole amp with a 10 Jensen speaker. Even the handle is like new. You won’t be disappointed.
