RARE Vintage CALRAD Model SA-30B 30 Watt Hi-Fi Stereo Tube Amplifier, made in Japan. This is an estate find, in as found, unrestored condition. I know very little about this technology and can make no claims to it’s functionality. I have not taken pics of the inside electronics and tubes, they are likely the original tubes. I have not tried to power it up, as I know it can be dangerous if there are electrical shorts, etc. I will try and answer any questions you have, but my tech knowledge is limited. For sale Vintage old school MERRELL SA-40 stereo tube integrated amplifier. Very nice looking piece of Hi-Fi history. Restored , fully serviced , recapped and adjusted to great working order with warm and detailed PP tube sound. Enough power for good modern or vintage speakers. It uses: 2 X 12AT7 and 2 X 12AX7 vintage NOS RFT German tubes, 4 X New SOVTEK Russian output tubes. This is one of the best sounding tube combinations, very musical and sweet. Luxman MQ60 Vintage Stereo Power Tube Amplifier. I have here a nice and old Luxman MQ60 Stereo Tube Power Amplifier. Came out in 1969, this is a true classic tube amplifier. I’m not a technician at these, but it appears to be working and sounding fine as I tested with my audio. Please note I have not done any technical testing, but only some basic test that the unit was producing sound through Input on both L & R channels, and the volume knobs working well to the best of my knowledge. I tested for a few hours and seem to sound fine. Maybe a slight scratch noise on the volume knobs (only audible when controlling), which could do with some adjustment/servicing if required. I also noticed the LED light on power switch seem to be not lighting up, but does not affect its function. Cosmetically the unit is in nice condition for its age as you can see. There are some wear and minor marks here and there, with some light scuffing on the corners and a bit of rust on the metal parts as pictured but nothing too major. I’m including plenty of pictures so you can see exactly how it looks. Please refer to my pictures for any details. NOTE: This unit was made for the Japanese market which runs on 100 volts. You will need a stepdown voltage converter for 120V – 220V regions. These charges are the buyers responsibility. Thanks for checking our listing. No expense was spared in the complete restoration of these wonderful amplifiers. Comes with all good vintage vacuum tubes, no Russian or Chinese junk. All capacitors replaced with only the best quality audio caps, as well as all resisters, tube sockets, speaker connectors, and switches. The only issue I can see is one of the rectifier tube sockets must be loose. I sometimes have to touch one rectifier in order to get it to light. This is a minor issue in the overall condition of these high quality amplifiers. Sound is very clear, and very strong. Tubes are (2) EL84 (Hammond) outputs, 6AN8 (RCA) preamp, 6CA7 (Fisher, Great Britain) rectifier. 10″ x 7″ x 5 and weighs about 11 lbs each. With over 2120 Positive Feedbacks.
