Built by Valco for montgomery ward. I believe a 1971. There is alot of humm buzz coming from the amp. Where the middle light is the plastic is broke. It powers on and you can play a instrument through it. Its not 100% playable condition and needs shopped. It seems like the reverb had some troubles. I replaced two 12ax7 tubes with new JJ’s as the old ones where micro-phonic. It may have more bad tubes. The reverb circuit seemed to make a bunch of unwanted noise. YOU WILL HAVE TO PICK IT UP AT THE NEAREST BUS STATION TO YOU. Most bus station or within 25 miles of somebody’s house. Most people don’t mind picking up there items as its normally not that far. If you have any questions please ask. However i could be way off base. You can make a offer and see if i will take. Vintage All Tube Audiophile Amplifier w Ceramic and Mag Phono. 115 / 230 Volts. Very Well Cared For. Comes with Original Manual. Tube Compliment: 12AX7 Audio – 7868 Power – 6AN8 Phase inv Driver – 6BA6, 6BE6, DA79, 0A70 Radio Tubes. UPDATE: From what I have read online about this amplifier, it was only offered in Japan and was heavily marketed towards military personal. This would explain its rarity in the United States and the multi-voltage switch on the back for 215 / 230 volts. It seems that only units brought back to the USA by USA military personal make up the current inventory in the States. This is how my friends Father acquired this unit. Up for sale is a piece of Pioneer history, the all vacuum tube SX-2000 receiver / amplifier. Made in Japan and very rare to find in this condition it uses three 12AX7 audio amplifier tubes, four 7868 power amp tubes and two 6AN8 phase inversion driver tubes. The sound is amazing and the the build integrity is impressive. To his knowledge it is 100% original besides a replaced tube many years ago. Can run on 115 and 230 volts. The amplifier powers on and the sound is clear and amazing!! All functions seem to be in excellent working condition. The phono section was tested with a Dual 1219 and it works great. The treble and bass controls work and the filter and loudness functions work. I could not get the FM stereo light to come on so that might need replacing. Normal signs of age for a vintage piece like some wear and scratches but overall in very good condition with no surprises or issues. Although it seems to work well this receiver may need to be gone over by a tech to check and measure the tubes and capacitors, I imagine it would sound even better with a full cap job. Its working great but it has not been serviced or restored. It will be packed professionally and securely. Watch Video Belo w. Pioneer SX-2000 Tube Receiver Amplifier – YouTube. Vintage Fender Champ Blackface Vacuum Tube Guitar Combo Amp! Listing is for a vintage Fender Champ Amp guitar amplifier. I believe it is 1966. In good condition for its age and sounds great. Speaker has been upgraded to a Jensen, plug has been changed (see pic), and the on/off switch works fine in the up and down position but there is a middle area where it doesn’t switch over to on or off (it was never an issue but just thought it should be mentioned). I will also include an extra JJ tube but the vintage tubes sound gorgeous. Amp will be packed very well. You can do a Google search on this amplifier to get more information about it. These output transformers are gigantic, heavy, and very impressive. I also understand that a matched pair like this is quite rare. I have also provided pictures of the various wires associated with both transformers and a description of the resistance values across these wires (see the Description below). DESCRIPTION OF THE TRANSFORMERS. Each one weighs approx. 5 pounds and is approx. All dimensions and the above-listed weight are approximate as noted above. Check out the photo of the transformers next to a 12AX7 tube (tube not included) which shows just how huge these transformers are! Both of these transformers have the same numbers/letters on the bottom as shown in the photos. These numbers/letters are: 51-58 and 138026. I was told that the 138 in the 138026 number means that the transformers were made by Stancor. However, I dont know if this is correct or not and I do not know what these numbers mean. Cosmetically, the photos show the transformers from all angles and please feel free to check the photos out in detail. Both of the transformers look good for their age in my view as the photos show. The transformers do have a number of scrapes, nicks, dings, pits, scratches, missing paint, scuffs, etc. On especially on the tops of both transformers which have some scrapes, etc. Also, the wires coming from the transformers have some dirt, residue, nicks, scrapes, spots, etc. On them, with the wires being of different lengths as shown in the photos. However, in my opinion, the transformers do look good for their age and have a very impressive appearance. Each transformer has 7 wires coming out of it. There are two groups of wires coming out of each transformer. The FIRST GROUP of Wires involves: (1) a BLUE WIRE (wire A in the photos); (2) a STRIPED (wire B in the photos); and(3) a RED WIRE (wire C in the photos). The SECOND GROUP of wires involves: (1) a BLACK WIRE (wire D in the photos); (2) a BROWN WIRE (wire E in the photos); (3) a GREEN WIRE (wire F in the photos); and (4) a YELLOW WIRE (wire G in the photos). I measured the resistance across these wires using an ohm-meter and I obtained the following results (see the photos). FIRST GROUP OF WIRES. (1) Resistance across the BLUE WIRE A and the STRIPED WIRE B = 188 ohms. (2) Resistance across the STRIPED WIRE B and the RED WIRE C = 90 ohms; and. (3) Resistance across the RED WIRE C and the BLUE WIRE A = 98 ohms. SECOND GROUP OF WIRES. (1) Resistance across the BLACK WIRE D and the BROWN WIRE E = 0.4 ohms. (2) Resistance across the BLACK WIRE D and the GREEN WIRE F = 0.7 ohms; and. (3) Resistance across the BLACK WIRE D and the YELLOW WIRE G = 0.9 ohms. All of the above-listed resistance values are approximate and rounded to the nearest ohm. Also, I cannot guarantee the accuracy of the above-listed resistance readings. They would make a great addition to any vintage electronic collection. Feel free to check it out! They should therefore not be considered connect and use items. I have not done anything to these transformers and all of their parts, wiring, and components. The above-described transformers may have been worked on by someone else in the past, but I dont know whether this is true or not. No other items are included. However, I do not know how much repair work, parts, components, wiring work/replacement, etc. However, I will do my best to try and prevent these situations when I pack this equipment although I cannot guarantee that they wont happen. It is therefore important and necessary that both of these transformers (along with all of their parts, wiring, and components) be examined thoroughly by an electronic expert inside and out before these transformers are operated, tested, worked on, repaired, connected to any speaker(s), connected to any amplifier(s), connected to any other equipment, modified, disassembled, handled, and/or used. Any repairs to these transformers (and all of their parts, wiring, and components), as well as the connection of the transformers to any speakers(s), amplifier(s), other equipment, etc. And the use of these transformers and all of their parts, wiring, and components should only be attempted by an electronic expert. Furthermore, I cannot guarantee or warrant that your ohm-meter will provide the same resistance values associated with the transformers that my meter provided as outlined above. I have no idea whether everything is original or not in the above-listed transformers and I therefore cannot make any warranties regarding originality. I also do not warrant that these transformers are complete and I do not know if there are any missing parts, components, wiring, etc. The item “RARE VINTAGE PAIR OF LARGE OUTPUT TRANSFORMERS FROM QUAD 7591 TUBE AMP AMPLIFIER” is in sale since Tuesday, October 23, 2018. Awesome sounding vintage 1966 Danelectro DM-25 Tube amp. Very cool piggyback design which houses the head inside the cabinet for transport, just like its cousin the Silvertone Twin Twelve. Amp sounds excellent with rich tube tone that sounds great clean or cranked up for some nice natural overdrive. Reverb doesnt work but on these old Danelectros it usually leaves a bit to be desired anyway as they use a really small tank, but the vibrato works great and is killer. Comes with original 12 Jensen speaker and footswitch. The item “Vintage 1966 Danelectro DM25 Tube Amplifier” is in sale since Sunday, September 9, 2018. This item is in the category “Musical Instruments & Gear\Vintage Musical Instruments\Vintage Guitars & Basses\Guitar Amplifiers”. The seller is “mwbutler” and is located in San Diego, California. 15 watts, all tube. Two 6V6 power tubes and two 12AX7′s in the preamp. The first and only Marshall to use 6V6′s. Built-in attenuator: 25 watt, 10 ohm, wire-wound power resistor. The “speaker emulator” [one user's term] is “nice for headphone use or for recording use”. The first and only Marshall amp to include a built-in attenuator. Balanced direct XLR Out – the only guitar amp in the brochure to have this. Headphone jack on the back. The first valve amp that had a headphone jack. To use the attenuator, you unplug the cable of the built-in speaker from the Speaker Out jack, and plug it into the Headphone Out jack instead. (This amp is 1986) Serial: U21963. Controls on the front: From left to right: Input / Gain / Treble / Middle/ Bass / Output Level / Standby / Power. Controls on the back: Left to right: Power cable connector / Fuse / Balanced Direct Out (Floating Ground) / Speaker Out 8 ohm (disconnect speaker jack for muted or headphone use) / Headphone Out / Line Out (unbalanced). 12 Celestion Vintage 30 speaker – the first Marshall amp to use this speaker. DC preamp tube filaments to minimize hum and noise. Vintage 1986 all-tube Marshall combo, Model 4001, known as the’Studio 15′. Uses two 12AX7′s and two 6V6′s (very rare for Marshall). It does not sound like a Fender Amp at all, basically a mini JCM800. A very cool rock machine, that wont kill your eardrums! Has a built-in attenuator, headphone jack, and XLR direct out! Everything is original on the amp, with exception to the tubes. The studio 15 is actually rated 18 watts. Everyone knows Marshall watts are loud watts! The amp has a 12 inch Celestion G12 Vintage 30 speaker. An incredible sounding speaker. The speaker may be disconnected without amy damage to the amplifier section allowing the amp to be used as a valve pre-amplifier via the line out socket. The internal speaker can be connected to the headphone socket, which gives a very low signal through the speaker – allowing the amp to be used at maximum volume and giving full bodied valve distortion. The internal speaker must be disconnected, to allow the headphone socket to be used with headphones. Headphone output: Output for headphones (only operative when speaker is disconnected), alternatively the internal speaker may be connected to this output for attenuated output. All original except tubes. FLAWS: Very minor signs of wear as shown in photos. The Output control knob is loose. I use plumbers tape and the knob is snug and works perfectly. PLEASE, check out the photos carefully. Bring your guitar to try it out before taking it home. Failure to do so will void the sale.
