This is a very good condition used amp. Only about 30 hours of use on new tubes I installed. Fully functional as it should be. I have loved this amp. 1974 Dual Showman Reverb Amp. This is a 1974 Fender Dual Showman Reverb 100 Watt amp in excellent working condition. It is also in excellent visual condition with very good tolex with minimal nicks. It is equipped with four 6L6GC power tubes, two 12AT7 pre-amp/reverb tubes and four 12AX7A pre-amp tubes. They were all recently checked to be 100% good. All knobs on the control panel are original. The tolex, feet, handle and metal parts are original. Comes with an original footswitch for reverb & vibrato. The Showman Reverb amp sounds great with distinctive Fender killer tones even at lower volumes. Excellent reverb, great vibrato. A great stage amp. This is an earlier version of amp without’pull boost’ circuitry. Up for sale here is this vintage Stromberg-Carlson AU34 tube amplifier. This is an interesting one. It was recapped/rebuilt by a previous owner, so it has some new caps and new power resistors, and some nice Sprague Black Beauty caps. I brought it up on a Variac and it does play well and sounds fairly good. The rebuild work is fairly good but this does have holes in the top of the chassis–I think there are supposed to be metal covers over these, but I’m not sure. Physical condition is fairly good but this does have a moderate amount of wear and rust overall, and is missing the feet, handle, screws for the cage, and one bottom screw. On the plus side, this has the schematic on the underside of the bottom panel, and both the cage and bottom are included. This has the original knobs as well, which could use a good cleaning. This includes all the tubes–1 6N7, 1 6SF5, 1 6SJ7, 1 5U4GB, and 2 6L6GC (GE). I tested the 6L6GC tubes, and one tested at 93 and the other test at 100 but tested positive for shorts and grid emissions. This is on my B&K 747B, on a scale of 0-120 where 65 is minimum good. These still work right now but you may want to replace them. I didn’t test any of the other tubes. This has 3 separate inputs on the side–an RCA jack, a screw-on microphone jack, and 2 screw terminals. All inputs seem to work fine. This has a bunch of output options on the back, and has a 1/4 jack hanging out of the back as well. I tested this using that jack and it does play and work fine. You might want to clean up the work on this, and just clean it up in general. These are supposed to make good guitar amps, and this would make an awesome “rat rod” amp. It’s been sitting on a shelf for a while, and deserves some love. Please see my pictures for details. If you have any questions, please ask. Up for sale here is this vintage Precision Electronics S10 tube amplifier, from 1970. It uses 4 tubes, all of which are included and are untested but seem to work fine. It uses 2 EL84/6BQ5 output tubes (one RCA, one Made in Japan and probably Matsushita), one 6CA4 rectifier (RCA I think), and one 6EU7 tube (RCA). I did not replace any of the tubes. This is supposed to have a 6V4 rectifier in it, not a 6CA4, so you may want to replace it. I don’t have any 6V4 tubes or I would have. I brought this up on a Variac, and it plays well and sounds incredible. I believe it is about 10 watts, hence the “S10″ name. It has taps for 4-ohm, 8-ohm, 16-ohm, 25v, and 70v outputs. I took a look underneath and this appears to have been updated with a few new parts at some point–I see what looks like a new cap and a new resistor. This would probably be pretty easy to convert into a guitar amplifier, and I’m sure it would do amazing things. Cosmetic condition is pretty good–this has a little wear here and there, and is missing the round badge from the front unfortunately. Otherwise it looks nice. Please see my pictures for details. The head sounds great, the controls are nice and quiet when turned but it does have the dreaded tremolo tick. The electrolytics in the pan have been replaced, the pan is a reproduction type but the tone board seems to be original. One of the pictures shows where someone has cut the cab just under the output tubes and the back panel is missing. This would be a great gigging amp since its not in perfect condition but has that wonderful Fender tone, no footswitch is included.
