Vintage Tube Amp

What a wonderful sounding amplifier/receiver! Generally, I have used it as an integrated amplifier, fed via a hifi DAC. I have also used the onboard FM tuner, which sounds wonderful.

Fisher KX-100 Vintage Tube Amplifier. Due to age serviced required for everyday used. As you can see in pictures the light jewel is green color it was found in that condition. Please look at all pictures for cosmetic condition.

Estate fresh, working1960′s Fisher 500-C tube amp.

For sale is a pair of Fisher 50-AZ amplifiers in beautiful original condition. I have owned these for many years but never got around to restoring them. The serial numbers are 327XX and 327XX and they’re about 20 apart. This makes them quite a find. It appears to me that these are mostly, if not completely original. They have not been turned on for decades. With that being said, don’t even think about using these as they are. They will absolutely need to be restored before they are used or plugged into any outlet. If you would like me to do the work for you, let’s discuss. I guarantee the transformers are good but make no guarantees about the condition of the tubes. You’ll likely want to go NOS on the power tubes anyway. 12AU7s are all US made. Cosmetically, these amplifiers are nice, but the chassis are not perfect. It appears that someone improperly cleaned one of the amplifiers and the other does have some light oxidation. This is typical and it’s rare to find one of these without some level of cosmetic age related issues. Heck, I’m almost sure some of these scratches/imperfections were on the units when they were made. I know how to pack these properly and have the materials on hand to do so. This is a beautiful fully working Fisher EL84 tube amplifier. Unit was fully restored and has never given me any trouble over the years ive owned it. Iron transformers are all original Fisher. Tubes have all been tested and have all tested strong! Tubes are a mix of older US made tubes. Output tubes are matched Mullard EL84′s. Cosmetically the faceplate has some patina but still nice looking. All Knobs are original and switchgear was recently cleaned. Phono section sounds excellent as well as all other inputs. Fisher KX-200 Stereo Master Tube Amplifier & KX-60. This is a working tube amp with receiver. Everything on this has been tested, and it sounds great. The amp still has the original Fisher Tubes. There are cosmetic blemishes on the Amplifier. It is missing a knob and and a couple knobs are missing the faceplate as shown in the pictures. Some of the knobs are a little stiff when you turn them, but should be OK. There are a couple of light scratches on the case, but nothing major. This amplifier powers on AND I CAN SEE THAT THE FOUR TUBES ON THE REAR TURN ON. This item powers on, I DID NOTICE THAT THERE IS ONE TUBE WITH BROKEN GLASS ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE STEREO THE TUBE IS BROKEN FROM THE BOTTOM, AND THERE IS ONE TUBE ON THE LEFT SIDE HAS A WHITE SPOT ON THE TOP AS PICTURED, OTHER THEN THAT I DO NOT HAVE ANY IDEA OR CLUE ABOUT THIS ITEM OR IT’S FUNCTIONALITY. THERE IS NO GUARANTEE THAT THIS ITEM WILL WORK. SOME OF THE TUBE’S TERMINALS BASE PINS ARE BEND AND OUT OF SHAPE.
