For sale is a McIntosh MC275 power amplifier that uses 6550, 12AU7, 12AX7, 12AZ7, and 12BH7A tubes. Only essential parts were changed to make sure the amplifier is working as it should. Aside from that, to my knowledge, it has many original capacitors and parts.

This McIntosh MC275 is in pretty good condition for it’s age. The chrome chassis is very dusty but doesn’t show pitting. But should polish up nicely with some detailed cleaning. This amp is in perfect working order with no hum. Very nice balanced OPT sound. This amp has been part of my personal system the past 10 years, but now time to let it go to a new home. I have the original manual somewhere and will be included in the sale. On that note, rest assured that it will reach you in fine condition. For sale is a McIntosh MC275 CE in excellent condition, tested and ready to be put into service. This unit was likely produced in the early 90s, using a chromed chassis (not polished steel) and closely resembles the original with the exception of a circuit board instead of point to point wiring. Unit in the past had a power tube fail, so it was serviced, but came to me without tubes. I did a complete check of all components and found no issues beyond a blackened tube socket which is simply cosmetic. I tested all of the pin voltages and they were well-within specification. Unit sounds absolutely beautiful. All tubes are either new or NOS. I have the original box and packing material which I will place within another box. This will give you three layers of protection. Cage is not pictured but is included. Unit is in excellent condition but does have some light scratches on the chassis in places as well as scuffs on the tops of the transformers as well as the bottom cover. Bottom cover also has a couple of dings from the brace inside of the unit. It will be coming in a large box. Terms (Please read these).
