Vintage Tube Amp

For sale is a original McIntosh MC-30 in what I’d consider is dormant condition. Unit is good cosmetically, but is completely original and has not been used in many years. This unit will certainly need to serviced before it is plugged in or used. Please do not plug this amplifier in before servicing it. Tubes included will likely need to be replaced, some may be good. Cosmetically, expect some surface rust and dull paint. Bottom cover has a bent mounting fin and there is at least one ding in one of the transformers. This amplifier is restorable. You do not need to live near me. I sell mostly vintage electronics. As such, these items are old and typically out of spec from when they were new. I do my best to test these items and make sure they work before theyre sent out, but I do not guarantee or represent that they will meet the original specifications. I may not even be able to test them, in which case assume that they dont work. However, there are times where I may miss something. If that happens, I hope that you would agree that the most efficient way to take care of an issue is if you simply message me before opening a case or doing anything else. I need an outlet for these items online, so I have no reason to send you something that doesnt work unless Ive noted that it doesnt. I pack items correctly. This unit is different from later units due to the lack of printing on the chrome on one of the sides, the lack of a McIntosh logo on the bottom cover, and no barrier strip. This listing is for a Pair of Vintage McIntosh MC-30 Tube amplifiers Model Type A-116-B. The amplifiers are in good working condition and were serviced about a year ago by a highly qualified technician who changed the can electrolytic capacitor on one of them and changed whatever else either of them need to get them in good working order. Cosmetically they are in very nice condition with the one on the left in a little better condition. The better condition one has very minor chrome blemishes and almost no pitting/rust. The second one has minor pitting and rust. Deatails of the cosmetics can be seen in the pictures. Some of the electronic part/s may continue for another 50 years without need of replacement and some electronic part/s may fail a few days after you start using the item.
