The gentleman said it was his father’s equipment and had been up there for a VERY long time! We will not test these due to their age! The tuner was the worst as it was exposed to critters. It will need a deep cleaning at the very least, as it is quite bad. Also the pre amp power cord is very dirty and a little stiff. Most of the tubes appear to be original, but there are some replacements. Also the power fuses are in perfect condition, which is a means a lot! The cosmetics should clean up quite nice from the looks of them. The tuner cover will need more than just a cleaning as shown. The photos describe cosmetics the best so p. These three tubes came out of a seldom used Norelco tape player, tested 100% both sides, each tube. Seems to me the sub numbers are all the same. Appears number to me to be 165 41k2. Nice lettering, I think great tubes, but not a tube expert like some claim on here. I did not clean. I think nice virgin seldom used tubes, just my opinion. Not sure what more you can ask for in 3 LOT 12AX7 TUBES. Please see all pictures and use zoom feature. Often the pictures describe the item better than words. Up for sale is a pair of vintage Quad II tube amplifiers along with the Quad 22 preamp. I got these from a friend on a trade and he had them recently gone thru by his tech and the Russian Gold Lions are new. I briefly tested them and they sound fine but I was only able to get output from one channel on the phono input of the preamp but both worked fine when I tried the radio inputs. Included is adapters for each amp to use a different preamp and not go thru the 22. There are two ac cords with adapters also included. One of the Quad badges is missing off one amp but overall a nice vintage setup. Thanks for your interest.

This particular set tests very strong and are closely balanced. The print on these tubes is extremely fragile and will easily rub off, most has already rubbed off on one of them, special care was taken not to rub off any more while testing (the one that still has the most print is the stronger of the 2). Vintage Mcintosh C11 stereo preamplifier. Six matching Telefunken ribbed plate 12AX7 tubes. All checked tested by professional tech recently. Few caps been replaced as you see on the pictures. All original control switches. Only change was few replacement caps on the pictures otherwise all original condition. All functions been tested and all good. Left & right sounds well balanced. 1950s Collins 356B high gain tube preamp or program / monitor amplifier. Same circuit as the Langevin 117a. The original, excellent, ADC transformers are guaranteed but this unit has been untested and the original capacitors must be replaced before applying power. Fantastic preamp for high gain use (ribbon mics, etc) once restored. Datasheet, schematics and test harness included. Tubes included but untested.
