Item Description Up for sale is a classic vintage Fender Band-Master guitar amplifier, housed in a practical, portable 1×12 combo cabinet configuration. Manufactured by Fender Musical Instruments in Fullerton, California, USA, this unit features the iconic script logo and classic Blackface-era aesthetic styling. Provenance & Servicing: This amplifier was a gift and the historical documentation or ownership records for the unit prior to this point is lost or unavailable. To ensure optimal performance and reliability for its next owner, the amplifier was recently refurbished. During this service, the circuit capacitors were repaired or replaced, the control pots were cleaned or replaced, and the unit was bench-tested to confirm it operates properly. It has been suggested that this combo amp is possibly the result of the installation of a Band-Master head into a combo cabinet for more convenience and flexiblity. This is a beautiful, vintage 1970s Music Man 210 Sixty-Five 65-Watt hybrid tube guitar combo amplifier, proudly made in Anaheim, California. I have not attempted to power it on, and no testing has been performed. As shown in the photos, two of the six power tubes are missing, and only one 12-inch speaker is installed. The amplifier is otherwise believed to be complete, and the original transformers appear to be present. Due to its unknown operating condition, I cannot guarantee functionality of any components. These speakers were just removed from their factory cabinet. They are a matching pair of 1959 smooth cone Jensen P15Q speakers. They have only been hooked to a low wattage tube organ amplifier and have never had more than 10 W through them combined. The original cones have no rips holes or voice coil rub. The frames look excellent with no rust anywhere.

This particular pair tests as NOS+ and are almost perfectly matched. I pulled and matched these from a group of about 20 vintage RCA black plate 6L6GC’s of the same style and these 2 were the strongest, closest matched tubes of the entire group, and while the style of print on them is a little different, their internal construction is identical. Also one tube’s top glass dome is slightly taller than the other, but this is also purely cosmetic. One tube has a CG/1968 date code, and the other a DE/1970 code. The tubes’ test results are displayed in the photos New 6L6 Spec 100% = 6,0. See the photos for physical / cosmetic condition. Also, t he tube boxes are original reused RCA boxes, and not original to 6L6s or these tubes. Notes Regarding Tube Tests.
