Vintage Harmony Model H 400 tube guitar amplifier “TESTED & WORKING”. Here is one very good. Harmony Model H 400 3 watt tube guitar amplifier. Is complete and in ready to use condition! It is quiet (no hum). All tubes have been tested for shorts, emissions and grid leakage and all test very well. The cabinet is in good condition with very few cabinet blemishes and no major tears, the grill cloth is in good original condition! . The carry handle is also in very nice condition as shown! The whole unit seems all original with no modifications. It was missing the volume knob so I added one that fit. I have also cleaned the volume control which delivered noise free use at the time of testing! Take a really good look at the pictures and ask any questions you may have. This Heathkit EA-2 was tested with a MP3 player into the crystal cartridge input and it sounds great! Of course, it sounds better in person! You’ll notice when it’s turned off, it kind of fades away as the capacitors discharge and the tube filaments loose power! The filter caps have been changed as you can see. There are a couple mods done by the previous owner. One is the addition of an output jack for a recorder (see close up pic), the other are diodes on the 6X4? Tube socket so the tube is not necessary. Looks like all you have to do is remove the diodes and a tube can be used again (see close up pic). Cosmetically it’s very nice showing just some minor wear. It may or may not work at all when you get it!

THIS COMES AS PICTURED. I HAVE HAD A FEW OF THESE OVER THE YEARS BUT THIS IS BY FAR IN THE BEST COSMETIC CONDITION AS I HAVE HAD. MOT OF THE TIME THEY ARE RUSTED (FROM SITTING OUT IN A SHED) AND NEED REPAINT. I WOULD NOT TOUCH THIS ONE OTHER THAN A LITTLE POLISHING. IT WILL MOST LIKELY NEED SOME ELECTRICAL WORK. LOOKS LIKE IT STILL HAS THE OLD WAX CAPS THAT WILL PROBABLY POP IF YOU POWER IT ON. IT SHOULD BE A FUN EASY RESTORATION THOUGH. THE POWER CORD WAS BRITTLE AND MAKING A TOTAL MESS SO I DID CUT IT OFF. THE PLUG CONNECTOR HOWEVER IS THERE AND EASY TO REWIRE (THESE ARE ALMOST ALWAYS MISSING). ALL OTHERS TO USE EIS.

100% working, just had it tested and serviced. Very clean condition, aside from mismatched output tubes my tech says it has no issues, easy enough to switch out if you choose to.

This a Great estate sale find, it is an EICO HF20 Monoblock Audio Amplifier. It is in Excellent working condition, with two 12AX7 preamp tubes. This amplifier has been in storage for fourteen years. It belonged to the owner of a high end audio transformer company. It is a kit build, very cleanly done, but the storage had taken its toll. All of the tubes were gone and I’ve replaced them. I have not cleaned the rust or corrosion off of the amplifier, that’s up to you to do and you can do as much or as little as you desire. What we’re talking about there is cosmetics, this amp it sounds great; all of the pots and switches have been cleaned, and the voltages checked. The amplifier is an Ultra-Linear Williamson type, with a 20 watt output. The preamplifier/equalization section uses inverse feedback allowing it to match the low distortion of the power amplifier. Bass and Treble EQ is ±15db. It has outputs for 4, 8, and 16? , plus a Tape Recorder output. There are seven inputs, two Phono with Equalization, Tuner and four high level jacks. The amp weighs 24 lbs. A copy of the manual and assembly instructions is included. I played it for six hours; it had no glitches, no smoke and a wonderful sound. First of all, let me explain why I listed this as for parts or not working. This is the reason why I listed it in this manner. If you are concerned about my integrity as to the condition of this amplifier. Now for the important part. This projector amplifier has been tested and is working flawlessly. The audio sounds great high and low frequency level pots work exactly as they should. There is no distortion even on full volume. Hum and noise floor are well within spec. If you are in the vintage audio world, you are probably already aware that even though an item is functioning flawlessly, presently, there is no guarantee that repairs will not be needed in the future sooner or later. Capacitors and other components, change value overtime and may at some point need to be changed. I ran this amp for approximately three hours yesterday feeding an eight ohm load to make sure there was no component breakdown during that time. Overall, this is a great warm, sounding tube amplifier.

This Heathkit A-9C was included in a large estate we recently acquired. Like most of the equipment in this collection, this piece was found in storage. It’s in pretty nice cosmetic condition and clean. However, my guess is that it hasn’t been used in years (possibly decades) and as a result will most likely require service. All capacitors look to be original. All tubes are vintage American (Sylvania and GE). We simply don’t have the time to test everything right now given our tech’s limited availability.
