Music Man 112 Sixty-Five. Electric Guitar Amplifier Combo. The amp worked really well when I used it but the original speaker had voice coil rub. Recently (Dec 2024) I took it to my current amp tech who replaced the speaker with my vintage 12 inch Pyle Driver speaker. He also replaced the filter caps, lubricated the pots and switches, powered it for an hour and checked operation. He says it’s now in great shape. 4 Ohm /8 Ohm Switch. 2 Vintage EL 34′s. 12 inch Pyle Driver. (51st week of 1982). Chassis Side Black Ink Marker. (18th week of 1977). (2nd week of 1977). (19th week of 1977). It might serve the buyers purpose to bring up the power slowly with a variac since these used amp heads are over 50 years old and have not been used for a few decades. Our amp tech has only replaced the needed parts -(filter caps & power cords as specified) to just get them turned on and running for an hour. Please see a skilled amp tech before extended use. The operation of the amps requires that they be regularly serviced for optimal performance. Please remember these are vintage pieces, we cannot guarantee that they will not need service or more parts in their future; only some obvious parts were changed to get it working. 1975 Music Man HD-130. Electric Guitar Amplifier Head. It had been used quite a bit by a previous owner who painted some hardware and Tolex black, red on the handle ends, and blue on the logo and badges. The amp was still in good shape and had the original giant rubber sliders and all 8 corners so I bought it and added it right to my collection in the early 1990′s. There is a modification of two holes drilled into back of the chassis in-between the back plates; we cannot figure out what they were for. (Please see photos) This amp comes with it’s original cover and reverb tank. Recently (Nov 2024) I took it to my current amp tech and he replaced the filter caps, added 4 new 1/2 longer chassis mounting bolts, lubricated the pots and switches, powered it for an hour and checked operation. 1983 Music Man 100-B Bass Amplifier Head. This vintage amp head is in very good condition overall. The serial number is “DR00353″ and it has a 1983 date sticker on the back. The exterior has some general wear but no major issues. The fuse has been replaced and I think it may have new tubes also. It has been fully tested and is in excellent working condition. Tubes aglow-a strong heart beats in an old cage! This little beast sounds great, but due to its age and the nature of tube gear, I cannot give it an absolutely clean bill of health. Hear with your ears and look with your eyes. Fully functional, but it may need some sprucing up and/ or modification to suit your needs. NOTE: the sticker on this unit lists it as an extension speaker. I suspect this was added at some point in its life. It is in fact an 8810.
