This vintage Fisher x-101-D control amplifier has been recently recapped and serviced, ensuring its optimal performance. GIBSON GA20 RARE VINTAGE TUBE GUITAR AMPLIFIER. CAME FROM ORIGINAL OWNER. COUPLE TUBES AS WELL AS MULTI CAN, CAPS AND RESISTORS WERE REPLACED ALONG WITH A NEW HANDLE ON TOP. Eico HF87 Tube Amplifier newly serviced & restored! If you’re checking this out, chances are you already know about this amp- sounds incredible, extremely rare, and hard to find in good condition. Kills me to have to sell this, but here we are. Hope it goes to a good home! This unit is working and in great condition. It has just been professionally serviced and restored- as in a month and a half ago! All new and matching J&J EL34 tubes (see full list of new and replaced parts on the invoice). The only minor cosmetic damage is the obnoxious circle cut out in the exterior cage (see photo). VINTAGE MOSCODE 300 STEREO TUBE POWER AMPLIFIER. Working – Fully Tested. Good Condition – Chassis Has a Few Scratches – See Pictures. Carefully inspect all connections and components under magnification. Reflow any solder joints as needed. Treat all plug and socket connections with contact preservative. Remove tubes, treat tube socket connections with DeOxit D-100 drops. Treat circuit adjust potentiometers with DeOxit. Tighten power supply capacitor top connections. Retorque Mosfet Output devices to heat sinks. Remove speaker protection relay, clean plug-in / socket connections, treat relay points. Full bench test, power, response, noise, THD, followed by a lengthy use & listening test. This is the one everyone wanted. Tube input, Mosfet output. The best of both worlds. Here is one that couldn’t be working better. Which transformed a standard 300 into a stellar, light years ahead performer. I say this because the stock 300 used a 6FQ7 / 6DJ8 input configuration. The “modded” moscode 300 incorporated 4 matched RAM branded 6FQ7′s, which are present in this unit. All in all a great sounding unit which will satisfy the most discerning audiophile, and may well be the last amplifier you will ever own. VINTAGE FISHER 800-C TUBE STEREO INTEGRATED AMPLIFIER. Working – Fully Serviced (Read Below for Service Report). Excellent Condition – See Pictures. Disassemble unit and inspect ALL solder connections under magnification. Reflow connections as necessary. Remove all tubes, treat all tube socket connections with DeOxit D-100 preservative. Check all tube connections for tension / tightness. Clean all switches and controls with DeOxit preservative. Check all power supply capacitors for integrity and AC ripple.. Replace any that do not test perfect. Check bias voltage and bias supply filter capacitor. Modify power resistor value in bias circuit to compensate for new type rectifiers higher voltage. Output tube bias now exactly on spec. Replace original output tube coupling caps with Jupiter audiophile Polypropylene types. Wow what an improvement! Replace all original smaller electrolytic capacitors with newer Elna and Nichicon types. Select phase inverter and audio (ECC83) types for best performance. This concludes audio section restoration. Now to FM & Multiplex. Remove tuning condenser cover. Lubricare condenser mechanics and dial string mechanism. Clean tuning condenser axle ground wipers and treat with DeOxit D100. This is absolutely necessary for best FM performance. _Perform full Dual Sweep alignment of FM RF, IF, and discriminator alignment using Sound Technology 1000A generator. Replace original 1uf 350v electrolytic with Nichicon polypropylene type. Also modify multiplex triggering circuit for more positive multiplex switching. Fisher 500C’s are known to have multiplex switching issues. This one is working perfectly and has wonderful separation. Select ECC83′s for best FM stereo performance and sound. Install LED lamps to illuminate dial glass. Install new foam behind front panel for proper light diffusion. Complete cosmetic clean up of dial glass, (it’s perfect), front panel (gorgeous) knobs and cosmetics. Oil Walnut case (it’s a beauty, not mint, but very, very nice) clean case aluminum tube cover, also beautiful, no heat stains.. Full bench test followed by a protracted use and listening test. FM, multiplex, phono performance is wonderful. Tech Comments: I have been servicing all brands of audio units, tubed and solid state, as a vocation, not a hobby, for nearly 60 years. I can honestly say that I have worked on hundreds of these receivers. This one has to be one of the nicest in recent memory. It appears to have been little used also. So we decided to “pull out all the stops” in servicing it. Wonderful FM, multiplex working as nicely as you will find, audio performance to die for. This one is a total winner, the front. Panel is near mint (most would describe it AS mint) it’s really stunning. You just don’t find them like this… What a great example of vintage tube audio! Tuning range: FM, MW. Power output: 30 watts per channel into 8? Frequency response: 25Hz to 25kHz. Total harmonic distortion: 0.7%. Input sensitivity: 3.3mV (MM), 230mV (line). Signal to noise ratio: 80dB (line). This is a MK1 SP8. Contrary to popular belief is better than the MKII. Thoroughly Bench checked works perfect. Best phono section ever. Notice not too many MK1 units for sale.
