I’m letting go of a few things from from my collection, including this Dukane model 1u460 vintage tube amplifier project. These make killer guitar or bass amps, or use as a full band PA as many punk and rock bands have done. Original transformers are present, as is most of the original circuit – needs typical updates like new. Capacitors, servicing, and tubes. Not currently in a working state.
For sale is a rare Citation by Excelsior C15 vintage guitar combo amplifier from 1960. This 1×12″ combo features two channels, each with two inputs, volume, and tone controls, plus an on-board vibrato with speed and intensity controls for that classic “swampy effect. Powered by a 5Y3GT rectifier, two 6973 power tubes, and three 6EU7 preamp tubes. The amp is in good working order, showcasing its original Jensen C12R speaker and vintage components, though it shows age-related wear on the exterior, including its Tu-Tone Tolex covering and brown grill cloth. A super amplifier from the 80′s. 100W of output power. Switchable between 6L6 and EL34, currently with 6L6 tubes. All original and complete amp. Many say these are the German option for Dumble amps. Sound is powerful but sweet full of richness and great tone. From crispy cleans to bluesy and Hard rock sound. These heads were manufactured for a short period of time. Vintage 1940′s Bell Air Electronic Corp BAMCO 14A Tube Amplifier UNTESTED. The unit is very old and rare. We have no knowledge about functionality. Offered here is a vintage Acrosound Ultra-Linear output transformer, Type TO-310, manufactured in the USA by Acro Electronic Products Co. Acrosound transformers are highly regarded for wide bandwidth, excellent balance, and use in classic push-pull tube amplifier designs. The TO-310 is a desirable model for restoration projects and high-quality DIY builds. Metal cover shows cosmetic wear, scuffs, and paint loss consistent with age (see photos). Original cloth-covered leads with typical age-related wear. Leads retain factory number tags, which aid identification. Mounting base is solid and straight. Electrical Checks (DC Resistance). The transformer has been checked for continuity and DCR only using a digital multimeter. Blue stripe? Green stripe: 98.8? Blue? Green: 118.9? Tan #1? Green stripe: 38.8? Tan #2? Blue: 152.9? Tap 1? 2: 0.7? Tap 1? 3: 0.4? Tap 1? 4: 0.4? Readings are consistent with a multi-tap ultra-linear output transformer and indicate intact windings. Continuity and resistance checks only. No signal, load, or in-circuit testing performed. Transformer has not been powered. Genuine vintage Acrosound iron (not a reproduction). Please reference photos and condition notes above. The guts on this model are the same as the Pioneer SX34. This Knight model was re-branded for sale. This particular unit has (2) Matushita 12AX7 Tubes and 4 ECL82 Tubes. Unit is powered, tested, and working. Scanned the FM band and adjusted volume during test. Overall good functional condition. Powers on and works. Audio output and FM band were tested. Overall good to fair cosmetic condition.
For sale is a cool oddball amp. Magnatone twilighter 260r twin 10 amp. Got this on a recent estate pick. Will need work and servicing. Ive never had it working or tried. Just assumed whoever buys it will know more about it than I will. Information found on Google. Twilighter was a brand Magnatone used on a line of amplifiers during the late 1 950s and the early 1 960s for LoDuca Brothers in Milwaukee. The LoDuca Brothers were a maior distribution company in the 1960s. Magnatone (Estey) built these amps, which were almost all clones of Magnatones, and put a Twilighter logo on the front instead of Magnatone. Essentially all Twilighter models should have a corresponding model with Magnatone. Known models include the Model 213R. Any further information on Twilighter amps can be submitted directly to Blue Book Publications. Amplifiers previously produced by Magnatone during the late 1950s and early 1960s.
